Team v Blackpool

Post by White Duck » Mon Sep 24, 2018 12:55 pm

At the risk of upsetting the self appointed expert of who can express opinions on here and how terribly negative those opinions are, what do those with opinions think we should do against Blackpool?

I would keep all the defence the same apart from Kakay instead of Baptiste (assuming Hall still isn't fit). Bring in Pav and BOS, play Cousins and Cameron (needs to get match fit) in the centre, Eze in the 10 position and Hemed or Wells up front. Smyth and Chair on the bench and brought on early second half when we are already a couple ahead

Wouldn't argue with any of that. If we play Eze in the 10 i think we can play Wells as the loan striker and try and get him on the score sheet. It feels a bit like that's starting to play on his mind. I could also see an argument for resting Eze and starting Chair behind Hemed.

Should they find a place for Dalling on the bench? Always good for players in the reserves / U23s to see that there is a route into the first team.

We need to progress so should field a strong team and go out there and win. We'd be one match off the QF and with a bit of luck in the draw have a fighting chance of getting there. C'mon lads, get out there and give us something to shout about.

Win would be good, failing that a draw and bring them back to LR.
How's that for an opinion?

strategically, do we want it?

I know this was never a focus of Ollies, probably agreed to by the Board, but be nice to make an effort.....3 games in a week?

Would prefer to see an approach of putting a strong side out but, maybe trial a plan "B" formation, something like:-

Lumley

Kakay
Leistner
Lynch
Bidwell

Wzolek
Cameron
Luongo
BOS

Eze

Hemed

SMc has said he's resting some and giving chances to those who are not getting games. I expect to see a very different starting 11 to Saturday and hope we see the likes of Kakay, Smyth and BOS give impressive performances.

For the first time in over 11 years on here I'm going to choose the 'ignore' option for someone. You have literally nothing of value to say and have the dullest of online personalities so I'm certain I won't miss anything!
