Freeman dropped to the bench with his place taken by Manning as Holloway looked to avoid the former picking up a two-game ban.

Ahead of the match at Villa Park, Freeman was one game away from his 10th booking of the season, which would have seen him miss the games at Fulham and Reading.

However, with the cut-off point for 10 bookings after the game in the Midlands, Holloway elected not to risk Freeman.

Only downside is that Cardiff now look sealed on.
Still gotta play Derby Villa Sheff Utd & Wolves, although it looks pretty nailed on & they would have to royally f it up from here the way Fulham are going any slip ups from Cardiff & it could all change.

Has the appearance of one of our home games with us, as the oppo, scoring soft goals on the break.

Very well done all round though and particularly to Ollie for coming up with a winning formula !

Best keeper in the division & I can only think how many points he would be worth to Huddersfield this season in the Prem.

Played really well, thought lynch was outstanding and proved what I know this team can do with the right direction, onwards to Fulham Saturday and hopefully another positive performance. Be nice to see us have a strong finish to the season, re-group re-evaluate in the summer and come back strong and focussed on the main aims
