He was on the EFL highlights programme on Quest the other day, and certainly gave the impression that he was up for it. I'm a bit surprised in a way that he's dropping that far down, but I guess they are a club with potential that have been in the doldrums for a long time now. It'll be interesting to see how he gets on.

I really hope he comes, obviously :D Massive coup for the club if they can pull it off. He's in town today, been photographed at the ground by a fan.

If he comes I hope it works out for him, the Town's buzzing about his appointment.

“This led to a meeting at Papa’s fish restaurant in Cleethorpes"

Lovely stuff. He's obviously committed if he's moving into the area too. I hope he does well there. Sounds like it might be a good fit for him.

It does sound like a good fit, can't get much worse for the club tbh. I'm in Grimsby now, really want to go tomorrow to help welcome him but I'm at a family get together lol

Good luck Ollie: pride and passion should get you some decent results in the lower divisions.

He'll do a good job there.

I'm sure he'll do a good job there and wish him good luck. Some people used to get irritated when he'd get his words all jumbled up in interviews but frank quitely, understand cannot I fuss what the all about is.

I wonder if he will ever come out with the phrase "Well that put the grim in Grimsby" after a defeat? :D

If he's fond of saying things like that, it's lucky he's not managing Scunthorpe !

He's off to a flying start. He apologised to Mansfield fans for over exuberant celebrations as Grimsby won his first match in charge there despite playing with 10 men for 80 minutes.

He's already got a better win percentage than MW and half the clean sheets MW has got. Sack MW and get Holloway back. © A load of cünts on Twitter.
