West Indies Vs England

Post by Andy_N19 » Thu Jan 24, 2019 9:36 pm

Well that was an interesting day's cricket.
But thankfully the Windies re-discovering a pace attack on a
dodgy pitch. Windies have batted badly 2nd innings, but should still
nick it. :D

As dismayed as I am with England's pathetic efforts, I take nothing away from a very good Windies team and performance. Hope this signals their return to days of old - Test cricket especially has missed them.

Dead rubber and all that, but England deservedly won. Think Windies missed inspirational captain Holder.

Keemo Paul was injured, so essentially 2 key players were not present
from the first 2 test and they took their foot off the gas.

Gabriel was a complete twat and Root responded well.

At full strength West Indies could give the Aussies a better fight that
England at the moment, but good luck to you guys in the summer. 8)

The Aussies are absolutely pants at the moment, admittedly they have Smith and the loathsome Warner due to return but they currently have some seriously average players in that team.
Question everything.

Astonishing results in the T20. That will take a bit of getting over. I feel sorry for the people of St. Kitts who rarely get a chance to see their side play there and they were shocking.
It's not the despair that will kill you, it's the hope.
