Man U fans

Post by Bear-Grills » Sun Dec 16, 2018 11:25 pm

I've just been reading their comments on the Guardian website after losing to Liverpool (including an Ashley Young deflection!).

Is it wrong that I find their tears of frustrated entitlement so sweet?

You can't win all the time.

You would have to be well in your 30's now to remember how Liverpool used to seemingly win it every year.

The exception is now the European competitions give a much greater advantage to those in it financially, and it is in a format which makes it hard for anyone to break into.

Exactly, trouble is they will now bring someone in who will "play the ManU way" and get them back on track.
I really hope that Poch has his head screwed on right and doesn't leave Spurs for OT after all the good work he's done there.

The only way is down for Spurs now in my opinion. Walker was the first to leave and the steady trickle of players leaving will continue.

Respect to Spurs for not paying the totally insane salaries and transfer fees but they cannot have it all ways.

I think Walker was allowed to leave for City as they had a ready and more than able replacement in Trippier. Apart from him I struggle to remember who else has left Spurs of note if any. I think Poch has done a great job there but are a few class players short of a serious title challenge. Moura was a good addition tbf. Eriksen was being courted by Barca but they managed to hold on to him. I think Levy is a massive issue with their progression further.

Eriksson, Alderweireld Rose and Dembele will leave before next season I think.
