Skint?

Post by 222gers » Fri Aug 24, 2018 7:23 pm

We're not the only ones cutting costs. Strange stories in the paper about Charlton Athletic. Staff not allowed to eat at their desks because the cleaners have been laid off and it might make a mess. No towels in the toilets, no bottles of water or food for the youth players at the training ground and other cutbacks.

They threw crisps on the pitch on Saturday. That must have left a mess. :)

Another disastrous foreign owner.

Managers sacked on a regular basis, some questionable transfers dealings involving the other clubs he owns, then relegation to L1 a couple of years ago.

Fans have been staying away in their thousands for years now, and those who do go often protest at his ownership.

A very sad state of affairs for the fans of the club who fought so hard to get them back to the Valley just over 25 years ago.
Are headphones getting bigger, or are idiots getting smaller ?
