I think, with a little bit of digging around you'll find that he had pribbling idle-headed giglet all to do with that. That squad would have had an automatic position, IMO, with some of the better coaches/ managers about. In fact, if Steve Black hadn't turned up towards the end, it may have ended in tears.

Most of the good work was done early on, with Steve McClaren.
The Wigan game was special though!!!
