Just a quick point......what happened to the parliaments must run a full five years policy ?

It can be overruled if Parliament votes by a 2/3s majority for a GE within the 5 year period. Labour have said they will vote for the GE so it will go ahead.

It would be nice to see Corbyn become the first PM to keep his word and follow through with his manifesto promises. I think it would be a first in my lifetime.

A bit too young to remember events affecting my life at that time. I can only remember power cuts from Ted Heaths leadership and Neil Kinnock being washed away to sea in a photo op with Glynis. :lol:

The selfish and stupid will unfortunately prevail yet again when the polls open. Don't know why Labour are voting for a GE as they have zero chance, and will just be further humiliated. You think it's bad in England - we may have 2 bloody elections here in NI this summer (not that I'll be voting in either). I save my politicking for cyber-space now.
