Another example of bias. The media has yet to question the mysterious "means testing" of the Winter Fuel Allowance. The media should be saying "you are going to limit this payment to those on pension credit, because means testing 12m pensioners would be too unwieldy and expensive, is that not true ?" But no, they've just let it go unchallenged.
It was widely discussed on LBC around 6pm Friday night. They ripped into it on the Iain Dale show.
The Iain Dale show, is that where it was hidden away. Not on the front of any newspapers or on the BBC.
And even you don't have any figures to offer us.

Will the money saved on the state pension go to pay for not raising taxes on the highest paid ?
How much will go to Philip Green, George Osborne and Kelvin Mcarsehole ?

Tucked away?
This was a station that called out Abbott and Rayner. A station where Farage and Hopkins have a platform. And you dismiss this because theyve given balance when its something you havent heard?

I don't know if LBC has changed, but years ago I used to listen to it at work and it was just a right wing propaganda station. They used to have an old buffer called George Gale ( known to Private Eye as George G. Ale because he was often apparently drunk on air).

I have led a very sheltered life. I've never heard of Iain Dale. I have heard of of Farage and the odious Hopkins. I remember George Gale on LBC. I thought he was a spoof invented by Private Eye.
And you can't even spell twat.

George Gale was real enough. He always sounded like he'd had 6 pints of ESB or half a bottle of whisky when on air. I believe he was the inspiration for Private Eye's archetypal drunken journalist Lunchtime O'Booze.

LBC is still pretty Right wing. The excellent James O'brien being the only saving grace.

I have to admit the BBC really went after Mrs May today. I guess the social care policy was very contentious. Proper carehomes need to be set up with qualified, well paid staff but the cost is immense.
