Leyton Orient

Post by 222gers » Wed Mar 01, 2017 10:11 pm

I know not many on here are concerned about other clubs but I see Orient, apart from being 6 points adrift of safety in league 2 are now in trouble with the Inland Revenue.

We haven't played them for ages but used to be frequent opponents. I enjoyed going to their ground despite a dodgy hooligan element amongst their fans.

Oh, and they were the first club to have real ale in their bar !

Someone will come in and rescue them in a cut price deal. So many former league clubs in the conference now. Big clubs like Wrexham who just cant get back into the League. Once youre out its a hard fight to get back.

Very sad. The day after we went up in the play-off final, they were a penalty shoot-out away from being in the Championship.

Another "fit and proper" foreign owner who's been an absolute disaster for their new club.
Are headphones getting bigger, or are idiots getting smaller ?

Small club spending more than they earn in an attempt to be succesful. Clearly the 'investment' to be a bigger club didn't work. How could any club be so stupid??!!

The stupidity of being a in a place close to where WHU have been "gifted" a massive asset and trying to dispute the case in the courts against all the people with vested interests?

Joking apart, we've been lucky with our owners.

Lucky because they are foreign and defacto dodgy or lucky because they didn't shaft us too bad as 'owners'?

All addicts are de facto slaves.

Surely? :-)
