His lack of aerial ability makes his 36 goals this season look more impressive.

They're both good players, tonight is a big night for Messi- help his side to the Champions League final and he'll have the opportunity to prove himself as the world's greatest footballer. If Barca lose Ronaldo is very likely to be crowned Fifa World Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.

Messi. His economy of skill is awesome - he only needs a slight jink/drop of the shoulder and he's way past his man. Ronaldo has to stop and rely on over elaborate tricks, by which time more cover is in place. Messi can beat 4/5 players on a run, Ronaldo can wrong foot a player but doesn't seem to be so confident when dribbling - perhaps something that the English style has taken from his game. Ronaldo is better in the air though.
