Officially sad news from Barnsley.

Post by Esox Lucius » Wed Sep 13, 2017 1:08 pm

A number of posters on here will be familiar with the old saw "Don't believe it until it's on the Barnsley Official" and I feel we have a little bit of affinity because of those posters so I am sharing some bad news about their owner. Oakwell is one of my favourite away trips and have always got happy memories of any game there regardless of the result so I genuinely felt saddened when reading this which, coupled with the news that his family have no interest in running the club once he has gone, may lead to some rocky years ahead for the Tykes. There are many, many more clubs I would feel happier with struggling.

Yes they covered this on Talksport the other night Mike, very sad indeed and a real shame for the supporters and community.

Led by Charlie Hungerford?
