Re: Match thread: Brentford v Queens Park Rangers FC

Doctor dumbass to you. Perhaps you'd be better off spending your time elsewhere. ooooo, Doctor are you? Not a Doctor in football that's pretty obvious. And where I spend my time is not really any of your business is it? If it was the whole world would be full of relegation loving Ollie admiring mis...

Spent a good chunk of his career in Ireland, most notably at Cork City. Won the league there in 2005. Very popular player there.

Re: Just coming back

Hall was at CDM/sweeper - his going off left us with more of a 4-4-2, with Lua Lua on the left, Pavel on the right and Freeman/Manning in the middle.

Re: Just coming back

We were really poor at the back - no, we still had 4 at the back. Bidwell was especially poor: Konchesky-esque.

Re: Just coming back

Concur with the above. Very nervy performance overall. Lua Lua really upped his game in the second half - a lot of nice footwork, beating his man and showed good awareness. A rather good option for us to have. As an aside: first time I've been in the Ellerslie Rd stand since 1991! Bit of a blast fro...

If we go on to win we probably won't be hearing much from Steptoe or Ray... which will be a pleasant change.
Cardiff 4-0 up as I type. Albert will be busy touching himself tonight.
"Under Warnock, we'd have won 7-0. Evil Les out."

Re: Sean Goss on the way

There is something concerning about signing a young player who is already suffering with a chronic injury. We can but hope the medicals have got more stringent. 21 and yet to play senior football at any level is quite concerning for me. Indeed. When will he, will be be famous? I can't answer that.
