Re: Rs in Hong Kong

The Trafalgar in Wan Chai shows a lot of English football, the championship may be a bit trickier. There are a number of places in Wan Chai and Causeway Bay that might be OK. Delaney's over in Kowloon is worth a go. They often show 3 games at a time, and it's a quick journey by MTR or Star Ferry fro...

Re: LuaLua

Agree with Staines here. I understand the point that Mexhoop made, at some point you're expected to be back at work. I'm just not sure that the comments that Holloway made are helpful to make in public.

Why is that? because he is scapegoat flavour of the month?
No, because it was poor defending. I quite like Onouha, we certainly don't have much better at the back in the squad, but that was a bad mistake.

Re: Team vs Cardiff

We've played 5 games, two against teams that made the play-offs last season, one against one of the teams relegated from the premier, another against a team with a 100% record after 4 games, and one against one of the outside bets for promotion. We've picked up 7 points from those games. We're clear...

Re: Boycott Cup games !

Personally, I'm feeling the same way today. Mind you, it's in some part a vicious circle, it seems to me. Fan apathy breeds piss-poor performances/demotivated management; lacklustre team-sheets sponsors stayaway crowds. Chicken and egg, ain't it? You could argue that if LR had been packed to the ra...

Re: Humble pie moment

This isn't particular to the current squad, it's been happening for years at QPR. It's surely no surprise that if you throw a number of players together for the first time the outcome is likely to be less than the sum of its parts.

Re: Lua Lua

I hope as fans we can make amends over the next few fixtures and give him some real encouragement - same for the team. They are giving it some effort and why some feel the need to boo and criticise at the slightest downturn, I just don't get it. Agreed. I can understand the booing directed towards ...

Re: Brentford away in the league cup

I wish I thought you were taking the p*ss. In the real world the first ball drawn is always the home team right, right - or am I going mad???? Perhaps we could draw some more balls to decide what kit the teams wear? These w*nkers are taking one of the simplest games in the world and trying make it ...

Re: Brentford away in the league cup

Just been informed they made a cock up with the draw, we should have been the home team apparantly.. Anybody see the draw, something to do with the colour of the ball drawn. Aren't the balls numbered? How can you pribbling idle-headed giglet up a cup draw? These are the people we have in charge of ...

Re: Stoke and Brighton watching Onuoha

I'm a fan of Onuoha, but more for his contributions off the field than on it. If he left we'd certainly miss him. He's clearly the kind of person you want at your club: committed, intelligent, respected and a reasonably good player. However, as a number of us have said, all things considered we cou...

Re: Gigs

The Killers are touring, not new but great live act. I think Half Man Half Biscuit are touring around at the moment too but listen to them on YouTube first as they are definitely Marmite... also my favourite band. :D Recently saw HMHB at the Worthing Assembly Hall. Decent gig, but one of the worst ...
