Re: Richard Thompson

Thanks, I will have a read. My thoughts on his tenure was that he ran the club very efficiently but actually, he was there at a point where there was tremendous opportunity. We had been top London club. We had a manager who was one of the best in the country. Sky was just about to pour gazillions of...

Thanks I watched it last night. Great film, very well acted. Did not do much for for my pre Monday Sunday evening mood though, it started dark and got darker.

He's played a lot of games this season so it's been a good move for him.
Indeed. I was disappointed he left as I thought he was management / coach potential and would be a real asset to QPR. However, the move has proved to be a good one for Clint.

Re: fantastic stuff from our community trust

this is really impressive and a ringing endorsement of the work which would often go unnoticed. Rather than the community trust publicizing themselves, what better thing could there be than a member of the community who has been part of this scheme to spell out that it saved his life. very good work.

The Moroccan flag.

My son asked me why does the moroccan flag continue to be displayed in the SA road stand. I am slightly at a loss to explain given that he left years ago. Any ideas? Anyone know the owner? Of course I don't have a problem as I very much enjoyed watching Adel but just wondered..

Re: Cardiff up to twelfth

best manager we have had in the last say 40 years when you look at the situation he found, the players he had and the things he achieved. All those so called better managers had better players and a better situation to start with. The truth is he got lucky having Tarrabt at the only time in his car...

Re: New stadium

The Air Asia Arms? :D Why not? Or just "The Ranger"? It's always surprised me that none of our "businessmen" owners have tried to expand the brand with, say, a bistro sports bar (maybe a Pool and/or Darts centre)? Attach a shop to that as well? The LC site would be ideal with nothing close enough t...

Re: Transfer Rumour Thread - Jan 2017

Not sure Washington has had any stick from the fans...maybe a little frustrated by his lack of goals. Certainly no one can fault his effort..which the fans do appreciate even when things aren't going for you. Not sure you can say the same for Gladwin. You're spot on: no doubting Conor's effort and ...

Re: Transfer Rumour Thread - Jan 2017

It might be better to to say it would be good if we had the funds to take up the option if it were offered? I believe we had an option to buy on Wayne Routledge after we won the title in 2011.... The owners then wanted no further spending as they wanted to sell the club, Warnock had to generate his...
