Sunderland

was thinking about giving this one a go , however, is it safe to purchase train tickets yet? I know Sunderland are one of the darlings of the Championship for Sky.

Re: Mark Hughes / Clint Hill

Why so? I think it was an enforced change. I think he said he wasn't an LB anymore - which i think most agreed with. Because he went public to disagree with the managers selection of his position and MH did not like it. Is this speculation or something that was quoted at the time? As i say, i don't...

Re: Mark Hughes / Clint Hill

If memory serves me, one match away at West Brom (I was there) Hill was left back and got well and truly roasted by the winger. Afterwards, I do recall him saying he was not a left back any more and that was one, if not THE nail in his coffin with MH Why so? I think it was an enforced change. I thi...

Re: Gigs

I have seen the Stone Roses several times now and they are fantastic live. Even though they have a limited back catalogue, the atmosphere surpasses most other gigs I have been to. Could be finished now though so I am told. This year also, Charlatans were good live. Anyone seen the Fleet Foxes, think...

Re: Washington ... 20 goals Striker

sorry - I want to stay positive but, while he puts in lots of effort, I feel that he simply isn't a Championship level striker at the moment and I saw nothing yesterday to make me think that will change - although happy to be proved wrong. At some point in the second half showed a marvellous first ...

Re: Transfer rumours

Robinson has been unable to stay injury free for long enough to give me confidence he will be a regular, perch is not a good enough full back and is in decline. I suppose I am also questioning the scouting which decided JB would be the standard required, there have been quite a few who didn't make ...

Re: Transfer rumours

Bar an Austin quality striker, for around £30m, I think we have all we need. For £10-15k I don't think we can improve at all. I don't feel either full back is good enough to keep us out of the bottom half or perhaps worse Robinson on the left and Perch on the right is going to be better than at lea...

Re: Transfer rumours

Having watched the highlights of our pre season I don't think we need any new players to avoid relegation, we just need to pick the right players, the right tactics and play them in their best positions. I don't think we need many. CB, RB, Striker for me. Bar an Austin quality striker, for around £...

Saw it myself, the film isn't perfect, but well worth seeing.
A movie that's not out at the moment, but Moonlight was streets ahead of even
this movie, now that was a film!
Thanks for the tip, I'll take a look.

Re: England italy u20 game

Not sure but if you still have not seen it, it was a good second half performance. England actually retained possession very well and the Italians spent much of it camped in their own half unable to play their way out. It was almost a role reversal of how it works at full international level v the t...

Good game. England closing in on an equaliser at the minute.
