Re: Allan Harris RIP

Years ago 74 would hsve been considered a "good innings". Nowadays a bit on the young side.

There are older blokes playing in rock bands. RIP.

Re: JET 'update'

It's hard to know with Caulker. Some are giving him the benefit of the doubt but others saying he's taking the pi$$ ( no pun intended ). JET is bang to rights as a conniving layabout. LuaLua, on the odd occasion that he plays always looks as if he's doing his best to fall arse over tit and go on the...

Re: JET 'update'

It's even more galling when you see in this morning's papers that workers can expect their wages to fall in real terms for the next two DECADES. Also even people in work are relying on foodbanks. These two parasites, possibly adding LuaLua as well to make three, just breeze along picking up thousand...

Re: The ashes

There's a breathless hush in the Close tonight Ten to make and the match to win A bumping pitch and a blinding light An hour to play and the last man in And it's not for the sake of a ribboned coat Or the selfish hope of a season's fame But his captain's hand on his shoulder smote " play up, play up...

Or they could play for a full five days & get no result.

What a waste of a week that would be a?

Probably the worst sport ever invented along with golf & tennis.
How dare you sir ! Have you never asked the kipper if you could turn your arm over to split these johnnies up ?

Re: Grant Hall

It's a worry alright. Hall is a classy player who would probably have moved on to higher things. However, best not to talk in the past tense about him and hope he gets back to fitness. At least we have Perch and Ned back in light training. The danger, given our defensive woes, is that they may be br...

Re: Ollie

My fear for Ian Holloway is that like so many football managers he can't change when things are going wrong. He will probably be thinking we beat Wolves and Sheffield United so if I stick to my guns we should be able to beat anyone in this division. That ignores the fact that every game is differen...

This result was as predictable as day following night.
Indeed.

And I'm kinda getting the same feeling for the Brentford game.
The Brentford game could be the start of a six match winning run that could take the Superhoops to the fringe of the playoffs by Christmas.

Re: Derby away

Bloody Brentford couldn't even do us a good turn by beating Burton. In fact, they're nowhere near as good as in the past couple of seasons. Perhaps we can get our revenge next Monday.

Boundary changes ( again )

After the last proposals from the Boundaries Commission that would have seen Loftus Rd incorporated into Ealing met with resistance, the new revised proposals would see our ground being part of Brent. Bugger off and leave our borough alone I say.

Derby aren't exactly setting the woods on fire. I think we'll get something from this match.

Re: Ollie

Holloway's job is safe. Not least because the club is in no position to fork out for compensation and offer enough dough for a new manager to come in. There have been some high spots this season and we are eight points clear of the drop zone. Sure his tactics if you can call them that, are depressi...
