Re: Some good news on injuries

Pity there's no news on defenders - we have midfielders coming out of our ears, metaphorically. I understand Mackie and Scowen can do a turn at full back but it's the centre backs that are of course the worry. Looks like we can forget about Caulker.

Re: A memory

Yes, definitely Bardsley but it seems a position that we jusr can't seem to regularly fill. We've had better luck with left backs.

Re: A memory

The best indeed. Strange that we haven't had a really good specialist right back at the Rangers for years. Kyle Walker was of course a loan player

Re: Onuoha misses Borough game

Three months is a bitter blow. I imagine all the other injured players will be fit long before then. Our position could be worsened if Robinson doesn't maintain fitness, hopefully his problems are over. Not sure about players out of contract though, they're not going to be match fit and probably wit...

Someone's going to say it, so it might as well be me "why is this in the QPR Discussion section ?"

Re: Match Thread: Middlesborough v Queens Park Rangers FC

Yes, despite having difficult games to start the new season and now with considerable injuries, we are still in the top half. The key this season will be to beat the less fancied teams like Burton and ahem, Birmingham. We struggled against the lower teams last season.

Re: Match Thread: Middlesborough v Queens Park Rangers FC

To get a result with our patched up defence would be tremendous.

Re: Harry Dean Stanton

I really liked HDS. He was perfect for the misfit roles, the sometimes seedy characters. Nobody played them quite like him. A similar actor was Timothy Carey who reminded me of Harry.

Re: Clint Hill's back!

https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/qpr-unable-to-agree-clint-hill-deal/ No return for Clint. This surprises me. I can't imagine Clint would have made extravagant wage claims. When you think of the money the Rangers have thrown at hideously overrated and under committed players in the past....well.

Re: Onuoha misses Borough game

Hamstring eh ? That's a big worry as he could be out for some time and we just don't have a replacement. It would appear Caulker has vanished from the scene and Clint surely isn't match fit. Has he actually signed for us ?

I hope the police have second thoughts about segregating the fans. I was hoping for a quiet chat about the demise of the Austro Hungarian emplre or the influence of postmodernism on twentieth century art. That's what a Sloane education does for you .......but the school dinners were rubbish !
