Re: Ollie

Holloway's job is safe. Not least because the club is in no position to fork out for compensation and offer enough dough for a new manager to come in. There have been some high spots this season and we are eight points clear of the drop zone. Sure his tactics if you can call them that, are depressi...

Re: QPR v Aston Villa

In similar vein, the five minutes added at the end seemed to be over in a flash. It's strange, the ref seemed to be having a good game for about 25minutes then seemed to turn into a Villa fan. We were of course up against a far better team but that berk made things even worse for us.

Re: QPR v Aston Villa

We did quite well in the first half but succumbed to a ref assisted burst from Villa toward the end of the half. Second half they just stepped up a gear and slaughtered us. I don't like playing without wingers. What's the point of a cavalry charge with three strikers on when there's noone to supply ...

Re: Ollie

He has been criticised for being tactically naive and for occasionally rubbing a player up the wrong way, but it has to be said he has these players busting a gut for the club.

Re: Onuoha misses Borough game

Encouraging news about Chief's recovery being 5 weeks ahead of schedule. If there is still anyone who thinks he is stealing a living from the club after hearing about how he played on with his hamstring detached from his femur for over 30 minutes then please keep your thoughts to yourself. After he...

Re: Things younger folk wouldn't understand.

OK here we go (though am at work now so cannot go into the finer details). At junior school in the summer there was a double pyramid shaped ice lolly which came in a UHT carton type material called a 'Jubbly'. At the time I used to get a lift home with a classmate whose mum also squeezed two other ...

Re: West Ham

The way the various league tables are looking, we could have a lot of derbies next season. West Ham, Palace, Charlton, Brentford, Fulham and Millwall.

Insufficient players

Blackburn v Walsall......postponed due to " lack of players ". Blimey and I thought things were bad at the Rangers.

Ben Toner

....was due to ref the Blackpool v Pompey game but has been replaced after much mirth, apparently, on social media. Nothing to do with the name say the authorities but they felt a more experienced ref was required for such a high profile game.
You couldn't make it up.

Re: The only competent person @ Her Majesty's Foreign Office...

I rather like Larry, the tabby with the white bib that lives at number ten. Meanwhile the EU are looking to keep Norn Iron in the single market thus solving the problem regarding the border with Eire. The quicker we drop this Brexit nonsense and declare our aim to stay in the EU, the better.

Re: You reckon anyone could leave in Jan?

I'm inclined to agree. We've plenty of dead wood but the ones more likely to leave are the good 'uns that you mention. Fat chance of getting shot of Jet or bloody Caulker.

Re: Holloway post-Forest interview

Plus of course, with money being tight the Rangers won't want to sack Holloway and pay compensation. And this on top of paying God knows what to bring a new man in.

It's all academic anyhow as Holloway is doing as well as can be expected with what he has at his disposal.
