Re: Yam Yams are coming

Why can’t we get a Chinese billionaire to buy us, instead of an incompetent fool who wets himself when we get a goalless draw at home to mighty Burton Albion. What would be the benefit of a Chinese billionaire owner with FFP in place ? Our current owner is sticking with it despite being outrageousl...

Re: Leyton Orient

Orient struggling so far, not far above the drop zone into the Bostick or whatever league is below. Torquay looking pretty unsafe too - I used to like visiting their ground. There but for fortune as the song goes.

Re: Yam Yams are coming

Obvious post, Wolves next week. There's no doubt this is going to be tough and I'm not expecting much by way of points from the game. Wolves are a club ready for the Premiership, debt free until being sold to a Chinese outfit they've invested the best part of £20M on players for this season, Neves ...

Re: Matchday Thread. Bolton Wanderers vs. QPR 21-10-17

Now we've got the two kick abouts out the way against the basement boys. A proper test with Sheff Utd & Wolves, home advantage helps, been a while since we've had a home game should be fun, shouldn't it shifty Wolves and Chef United should be rollicking matches especially as we haven't been at home...

Re: Board meeting to decide Ollie’s future

It's a load of crap. A decent manager would only come here if he were to be offered plenty to spend in the January window. This is highly unlikely unless the FFP reins have been loosened.
Ollie stays.

Re: Porridge

There was a marvellous single episode drama about a dodgy football manager played by James Bolam in I think, the late eighties. It was called Eleven Against Eleven and won several awards. It's never been available on DVD which is a great shame.

We need to get an early goal to stifle the Roker Roar. Or perhaps the Stadium of Light Scream as I suppose it is these days.
