Re: Forever Rs

And the undoing of Gerry Francis. But he gives me the impression that he’s annoyed about being loved less than Stan (who admittedly, is my personal fave, albeit an age thing). In answer to the original question, I’m not sure of whose already in, I’ve not kept track and not aware of any list, so dif...

Re: Red Card

Within the letter of the rules it was a red card. I however, came to that conclusion having seen the TV coverage from different angles. The ref was not in a good position. TV again suggests his view was shielded by a QPR player, and the whole thing happened away from him and very quickly. He didn't ...

Re: Red Card

TV shows he had both feet off the ground. It could have been a nasty one, though thankfully not. It was both reckless and dangerous. Hence the straight red.

Re: Happy 60th birthday Zenith

Thanks ... and thank you QPR for that performance, the win and the points. I left home at 8am and got back at 8:45pm. So, a very long day, but a very happy and enjoyable one. A family (and friends) gathering in the Crown and Sceptre for lunch with a few shandy's. Two blinding saves from Smithies, tw...

Re: Jack Robinson watch

oh and sorry my evidence is i was involved in the separation of the two assets so i know it to be true! They won't fold the club to pay the fine. They will simply not pay it , the FL will take out a court order [ like you have seen HMRC do]. Nothing will be paid , the club will just fold as there a...

Re: Jack Robinson watch

I thought the owners had said they would cover any FFP fine. As in they would pay it out of their own pockets. The irony is ... the fine was imposed because the owners spent their own money funding the club, and here they are agreeing to pay the fine again out of their own money. FFP is one of those...

Re: Sean Goss

Sean had another good game for Rangers today by all accounts. Including a blistering shot which hit the bar. Against a Scottish League 1 side, who I'm not sure are even full-time professionals. Perspective is important. Remind me how we did against MK Dons in the FA Cup with practically our first c...

Re: Match Thread: Wolverhampton Wanderers v Queens Park Rangers FC

Just seen Washington's goal ... lovely bit of skill.

He gets a lot of stick, but that was a really good finish.

Re: you let me down, you let you friends down and

He's done a great job there. Won promotion and the Football League trophy in his first season, then a 14th place finish in the Championship last season, above several teams with considerably bigger budgets, ourselves included. And that despite having to sell virtually all of his best players during...

Re: In, out, shake it all about....

Once things finally settle and we are either rid of those players earning more than we can afford to pay, or have re-signed them on reduced (realistic) wages, we can sort out our plan going forward. Just as spending silly money on Samba, and paying Joey Barton £70,000 a week was pure folly, spending...

Re: Barnsley’s Current Form...

there are no signs of firm foundations having been laid Slightly unfair, a lot has been done with the scouting system and contiunal work with the youth players some of which are now breaking in to the first team. Didn't Dave Mc say he expected us to be quiet during this transfer window but busy in ...

Re: Barnsley’s Current Form...

More Whining. Rome was not built in a day .Have patience. Until then a typical fair-weather QPR fan. The only trouble with that T Block is we don't have the materials we need to build the thing, and thanks to years of poor financial management we don't have any money to buy those materials either. ...
