Re: Board meeting to decide Ollie’s future

Would be complete madness to replace Ollie. I cannot think of anyone who'd do a better job given the circumstances. Perhaps ask him if all his backroom staff are what we need but Ollie himself is a perfect fit. No jacket required. We haven't won in 9. How can you possibly say Ollie is a perfect fit...

Re: Don't you just know

That Sunderland and Bolton are going to do the double over us. Then I will start to get worried for Holloway and where the team and season are heading. I won't bother asking you for the lottery numbers this coming weekend. :D Hopefully Bolton have had their token victory, and it will be back to rea...

Re: Board meeting to decide Ollie’s future

If Olly left for whatever reason, the burning question is who would replace him? We do not have a team of world beaters, and anyone who thinks we should be challenging for promotion needs a huge reality check. Things have improved from this time last year, and there is more stability around the whol...

Re: Board meeting to decide Ollie’s future

My view is ... we are moving in the right direction. We are moving slowly in the right direction, and maybe too slowly for some. The thing is, if we want to be a top 10 club, we need a natural goal scorer like ... Furlong, Gallen, Austin, Ferdinand etc. They don't come cheap - at this level, in the ...

Re: QPR help kick off Oaklands

Don't know whether I'm whistling in the wind but the club have not disowned the story and Fernandes made noises in his BBC Hardtalk interview that OOC was still an ongoing concern. As I've said before it's the kind of thing that somebody with a business acumen would get involved with. My understand...

Re: Conor Washington

I'd give Washington and Sylla a proper run together. They certainly seem no less likely to score than Smith or Mackie so it's no real gamble and they seem the most natural partnership. It’s the obvious choice to everybody except Holloway. They are clearly the best two out of our four p.isspoor forw...

Looking at the BBC stats ...

Suggests there is something wrong that needs tweaking - not a major overhaul. Last night: QPR 25 shots - 4 on target Fulham 12 shots - 2 on target Add in corners: QPR 10 Fulham 2 This suggests we are not taking our chances, or making the most of the opportunities that come our way. That gets fixed o...

Re: Conor Washington

The current crop upfront compared to what we've had in the past is shameful. Spencer Sheron Thomson Austin etc etc geezers that score f*cking goals none of this bollox about positions and playing to there abilities just strikers that score goals, I'll be amazed if any of the current lot get to doub...

Re: Conor Washington

The simple truth is ... we do not have anyone at the club who is a 'natural' goal scorer. It's easy to point fingers at any of our strikers, but the fact is none of them has that knack of being in the right place, having a great first touch together with a killer instinct. Charlie Austin had all of ...

Re: Just got back

Just read Ollie enthusing over Caulker's performance last night. Zenith - what did you make of him? Honestly? He looked off the pace. We paid £8,000,000 for him I believe. Compared to Baptiste who we got on a free. One was alert, looking to find another QPR player with a pass, had anticipation, and...

Just got back

A draw was probably a fair result! The first half we were poor - very poor. The second half we were better with the introduction of Washington for Osayi-Samuel. They scored with their first shot on 20 minutes. It had a bit of luck about it in the build up - a Barnsley player shot, the ball hit one o...

Re: Stadium Capacity

Not much point in having a new stadium if we can't fill the current one ... Bravo Nic, Although a state of the art stadium with all the mod cons etc would be nice, we can barely scrape 12k together on a match day now, the new stadium would be like a morgue. It's about what's happening on the pitch....

Just back from a wedding ...

So, apart from getting the result from the BBC, I was very much out of the loop.

Where was Wheeler yesterday? A goal after 2 minutes last week, I thought he might be pushing for a start, but wasn't even on the bench.

It sounds like we had a very average day at the office yesterday.

Re: Redknapp sacked!

Redknapp sacked! :D :D :D :D The Birmingham owners continue to show they have no understanding of football, and so I wouldn't be surprised to see them offer Ray Wilkins the job in tandem Brian Robson. As for Harry ... He has had a career built on hype and hot air. Media Darling! Pah! Six defeats in ...
