Re: JET 'update'

This is the answer from Clive, LFW to this clickbait site. "That's a rehash of what Ferdinand said at the fans forum a week ago, with a clickbait headline stuck on the top that bears little relation to the tone in which it was said. Full quote “JET is still alive, but as Ian alluded to earlier ther...

Re: I wonder

There comes a point in many managers' careers when they start to make weird decisions: picking players who plainly don't deserve to be picked, playing people out of position, making inexplicable substitutions, making things more complicated than they need to be. I'm afraid to say that Ollie has rea...

Re: Ollie

My fear for Ian Holloway is that like so many football managers he can't change when things are going wrong. He will probably be thinking we beat Wolves and Sheffield United so if I stick to my guns we should be able to beat anyone in this division. That ignores the fact that every game is different...

Re: Ollie

Let me start by saying I don't think we should get rid of Olly. Hang on to that thought. I do though think, he needs to take a step back and have a good long hard look at himself. Last time he was in charge he froze certain players out, played the same 'failing' players time and again, and didn't wa...

Went to Bristol Rovers if I recall correctly

Indeed for £275,000 in 1993. After Brizzle Rovers he went to Leyton Orient for 2 years before dropping into non-league.

Re: Washington loses leg

He is what he is a workaholic who will get u 5-8 goals a season. U can never fault the lad for effort but he's not a natural finisher that's for sure, shame because the amount of decent positions he gets himself into & chances he has he'd be on 20+ a season if he could finish. There's no replacemen...

Re: Nottingham Forest vs QPR

For my sins I live not too far from Nottingham and occasionally work in the city. I therefore come into contact with a lot of Forest fans, many of them season ticket holders. What I am hearing consistently is: "That is the best we have played all season." That of course is scant consolation. On Satu...

Re: Just got back ...

I think part of the problem was a belief we could win! Had we gone with an away formation and played on the counter we would have stayed in the game... agree with Zenith great first 10 then we looked shell shocked combo that with a makeshift defence who had over performed in the previous 2 games an...

Re: Unwanted Record

We are QPR - we make these sort of 'negative' records all the time - just look at our FA Cup record!

Now we hold this particular record, I wouldn't be surprised to see us win at Forest next time round.

The pressure will be off.

:D

Just got back ...

Oh dear! The first 10 minutes we were really good. On the front foot and after the week we've had I felt confident. Then it all went sour. They carved us open for all four goals like a Christmas turkey. Quick passing, men over ... bang! At 2-0 we had possibly our best chance - a peach of a ball into...

Re: What if Sylla had done a Di Canio?

The goal against Sheffield United was a little against the spirit of the game, just wondering if he had have picked the ball up and given it back to the keeper, rather than gleefully slotting the ball into the empty net how we would have felt? I don't often feel sorry for our opponents but while I'...

Re: Best Place to Park at Forest?!

Best advice: Come off the M1 at junction 24 and follow signs for the tram/ park & ride at Clifton South. It's about 15 minutes from the motorway (depending on traffic). It's free to park, and you are in the right place to get away quickly after the game. It will cost you £2 for an event return ticke...

As you say just a bit of fun ...

The reality is that all of them would be well outside our price range - even ex-Ranger Clarke.

What a fantastic week!

Now the icing on the cake would be that first ever win at the City Ground on Saturday.
