Re: Ollie

Most of the 'tactically naive' criticism comes from people who are mentally naive. We were tactically naive against Forest and Villa. No ifs, no buts. They both exploited obvious weaknesses in our set-up which Holloway was unable to recognise. In fact Holloway has ALWAYS been tactically naive, just...

Re: Interesting Stats

Results after 16 games this and last season I've just driven 3hrs so please forgive me but uve lost me John. Last season JFH was sacked after 16 games with the results as above. Holloways stats after 16 games this season are not that much better QPR_John quoting statistics. Strange times indeed. It...

Re: Latest Fans Forum - Questions

Goss & Brentford. Goss what the f*ck & where the f*ck is he!!! Brentford you disgraced our club the last time we played them with your approach, it may mean f*ck all to you to get smashed by our local rivals but it f*cking does to us, don't take the piss out of us again!! Hopefully my choice of lan...

Re: Washington loses leg

From the one replay i saw, it looked like an extremely poor decision. Absolutely disgraceful response from the player's wife on social media though. I totally agreed with her - at the time. Later she regretted it and apologised. So did I. Football gets you like that. On that basis, I assume John Te...

Re: Holloway post-Forest interview

Too many of these players (Mackie, Smith, Washington) won't take us anywhere special, while our much trumpeted trio of Scowen, Luongo and Freeman are decent, but mostly workmanlike - Luke, our supposed talisman, didn't thread a single incisive pass the whole afternoon. We have limited quality, inte...

Re: West Ham

Is he really a terrible manager though ? Did a very good job at Preston and Everton. So-so at Man Utd, but taking over from Fergie was always going to be tough. Don't know much about his time at Sociedad and he was clearly awful at Sunderland, but overall his managerial record isn't bad. I think the...

Re: Holloway post-Forest interview

I never really understand why people set so much store by post-match interviews. Managers are forced to do them, when talking to the media is probably the last thing in the world they want to do. I'm sure he was tired and dejected. It was a miserable day all round, so he's unlikely to serve up a det...

Forest played on the previous Saturday and Tuesday, just as we did. Why would tiredness be more of a factor for us ?

Re: The Paradise Papers

Yeah, fair do's, she was duped.

Thought she'd got a good deal on a new throne at £50 a week from BrightHouse, but didn't factor in the 150% APR. Should have read the small print, but then it is difficult to do so at her age.

Quite right, Sheepy. Along with major corporations such as Google and Amazon, these fine upstanding individuals should be congratulated on their determination to avoid paying tax, even it involves creating elaborate company structures around the world that bear no relation to where their services ar...

Re: Best Place to Park at Forest?!

if you walk confidently enough Is there video of this? Just look as though you go there all the time, smile and say hello to the doorman. I wouldn't have thought it would have needed spelling out for most people. Surely saying hello would reveal your unmistakeable Cockney brogue and result in you b...

Re: Expiring Contracts...

Clearly successive home wins over the top two has tipped a few people over the edge.

I think it's a price worth paying.

Harry Redknapp: "They weren't players that I brought in. They got promoted with a team of players already there. It was only 1 or 2 signings [that I made]." List of signings that season: Assou-Ekotto, Charlie Austin, Yossi Benayoun, Tom Carroll, Javier Chevanton, Kevin Doyle, Richard Dunne, Karl He...
