Re: Wishy washy

Smith is our best option as things stand. He can only do one thing but he has 3/4/5 chances a game and scores more often than anyone else.

Re: How come....

I thought he was alright for us. Certainly better than our current options on the wing. I reckon he was too expensive or there was too much history.

Re: Caulker watch

People are heavily affected by those problems in all walks of life and that’s understandable, I think. Unlike other walks of life, football clubs offer long fixed term contracts that means that players are hard to get off the pay roll when things go nipples north for them. Happens to the best of us ...

Re: Season Tickets 2018 / 2019...

Definitely. It’s not about how well (or badly) we’re doing for me. It’s not even about how well (or badly) the club is being run.

It would take QPR not being QPR anymore to stop me going.

Re: Curtis Fleming leaves for middlesboro

It’s very hard to quantify how important backroom staff are, but I’m a little concerned by this news. We were SO bad at the back before he came in. It’s not like we’re good going forward but we’re at least competent at the back. I hope that doesn’t change now he’s gone.

Re: Curtis Fleming leaves for middlesboro

I’m not sure that’s fair on Fleming. I reckon he did improve us from woeful to average. We can be fairly resilient without scoring many goals and that’s credit to the defence. Barnsley nearly scored from one of our corners yesterday and it reminded me how often we used to concede like that and how r...

Re: Well done Queens Park Rangers

I like Osayi-Samuel. He looks like someone has pushed fast forward when he gets going and he looks strong and good on the ball.

Re: Well done Queens Park Rangers

Really?! I’m an Ollie supporter, but I thought that might’ve been the worst three points I’ve ever seen us obtain, notwithstanding the obvious resilience it took to hang on.

Re: Bristol City vs QPR

If we changed manager now I think we’d go down, so lots to lose. If we keep him we’ll stay up with an opportunity to develop the club’s longer term plans. If we go down under Holloway, then I think the sack would be appropriate.

Re: No Pawel?

I don’t particularly rate Sylla but he’s surely good enough to be more than dead weight?! He might come in handy at certain points, for example if we’re pushing for a goal and all of our other strikers are already on the pitch or injured?

Re: Anti depressants doctor

I suppose it could be argued that a solid mid table finish on this budget isn’t a bad return? I fear another manager might see us do worse whilst also seeing us lose some of our identity. I can’t help thinking that if the team spirit keeps improving and (who knows?) down the line we get some fresh i...
