Re: A game of two halves

We've had more possession than our opponents in every game this season. Qpr and the beautiful game, who would have thought it a.. Pack the midfield and you should boss possession which is what we're doing. Got to pack the midfield with quality though. Seems we have a good balance at the moment.

Re: Scowen

Agreed he had a very good game overall. That was the second of two overly tasty challenges from him yesterday though, I expect a straight red is just a matter of time.

Injuring three players with one tackle. Hell of an achievement!

Re: Brentford & Cardiff..

A win at Cardiff for sure. 3 points on the board yes please. Couldn't care less about the cup these days and have never particularly cared about our Brentford "rivalry". Although nobody I know supports them which probably helps.

Re: Lua Lua

I think he's an excellent player and am chuffed we have him back. Rough diamond. Poor game today granted but knowing the circumstances now it very much explains it. Very surprised he was included with that in mind.

Re: Gigs

Went to school with Orlando from the Maccabees. Quite surprised they've called it a day, very good band. Real shame they split - saw them on many occasions and always great value. Was Orlando a good bloke? Always comes across that way. Now Bombay Biclycle Club have gone on hiatus, there don't seem ...

Went to school with Orlando from the Maccabees. Quite surprised they've called it a day, very good band. Muse are the finest live band around at the moment. Coldplay excellent too, even if their tunes are getting pretty terrible these days. Chic are playing in October, they sounded outstanding on th...

On Talksport they said that all of the seats had been turned around to enhance the crowds matchday experience.
Not sure the bloke behind me's builders bum would be that much of an improvement. Slight, but not great.

Re: New kit ??

I think they're great other than the sponsor which as mentioned is too high and the black colour doesnt work for me.I'm surprised Lala hates them so much I think they're pretty spot on.

Re: Ngbakoto back to his best for DR Congo

I think a class act is a compliment too far! He's clearly had a rough year but hasn't turned in consistent performances yet. A few glimpses at the back end of last season were enough for me to want him to stay but I wouldn't shed too many tears if he didn't.

Re: R passed away.....

Back in 2006 I had a world trip planned and asked on here whether it would be easy to find somewhere to watch the World Cup in the US. John replied with an insistence that he show me around San Fransisco when I was there. We arranged to meet and a beautiful classic old American car pulled up outside...

Outstanding second half from the lad yesterday, not seen an R terrorise a full back like that in far too long. Top stuff! More of the same please and may be worth looking at a permanent contract.

Re: Just back

I'm a glass half full type but I'm finding it very difficult to find any praise for Bidwell after any game I've seen. To me he's one that just makes up the numbers and offers very little, a serge branco if you will. Clearly he was a different player at Brentford but there's only so long you can pers...
