Re: I'll give this to Ollie

He's a courageous man. Putting out that ball playing team with two out and out ball playing midfielders (one of them knee high to the Leeds centre backs) and trying to beat that big, strong Leeds team by playing football for at least 45 minutes. He's a brave man. No-one knows where we'll end up in ...

Re: How long does Holloway have?

Holloway should've got the sack when we lost against Vauxhall Motors. He didn't and we went on to make the playoffs then get promoted the following year and finish in midtable in the championship the year after that. So, we need to stick with Holloway and hopefully he will turn this around, like he ...

Re: QPR v Leeds Match Thread

Roofe is precisely the type of player our esteemed DoF should have been signing. Him, Fernandes and Holloway are as clueless as each other. Of course they're not clueless. I think they know what players they need to be signing. But we all know the financial mess we're in and so we have to work with...

Re: QPR v Leeds Match Thread

Ok we all knew the front line was weak, but so did Olly who tried to get someone in all summer. But in all fairness, the side have been badly hit by our defensive injury crisis and it is a crisis. Our slump in form/results has happened ever since Nedum got injured and the subsequent other injuries. ...

Re: Gerry Francis... Leaving WBA

I don't think he needs coaching help necessarily. What he really does need is to not have 5 defenders out long term with no cash available to replace them with. But he may need someone to bounce ideas off/confide in/take advice from which maybe the likes of Bircham and Fleming can't provide. So as ...

Re: Gerry Francis... Leaving WBA

Muppets. It is obvious Ollie needs help. Its a no brainer just go and get him in any capacity you can.Full time ,part-time I do not care. Why do you think WBA wanted him to stay? It is because he knows more about football than anybody Rangers could ever hope for. Come on Les.... I don't think he nee...

Re: Jack Robinson

To be honest he seems to be a bit of a revelation at CB. I know when the others come back he'll be dropped to the left again, but he's done very well and his sliding tackles and blocks have been a joy to watch. Well done young lad. aniclap aniclap aniclap

Re: I wonder

Holloway is the worst manager we have had since last November. Fact! Is the correct answer! 8) But in all honesty, are we really talking about changing managers again? I think, that so far, Holloway has done pretty well with the players and funds available. Don't forget that the money goi...

Re: 4 magic days

I fully concur but would also add that credit is due to Holloway, Sir Les and the board too. They do have a vision and it will take time to get there. They have made mistakes and are learning from them and whether you like him or not, Holloway certainly is putting some passion and grit back into the...

Re: Ian Holloway interview

I think that Olly is one of the good guys in football. Obviously I don't know him but he comes across like someone who genuinely cares about what he does. I remember reading is autobiography a few years back (just after he left QPR) and thinking then what a decent guy he seems to be and how he has d...

Re: Ian Holloway interview

Fantastic read and yes I quite agree, how can anyone knock the man (and the club) for what they are trying to do. With the Grenfell game at the weekend and 100yrs at Loftus Rd coming up, now is a great time to be a QPR supporter and I'm delighted Olly is leading the way

Re: game for Grenfell

Absolutely. I'm glad team Ferdinand won over Shearer (after all he is due a bit of revenge after Shearer took away his No9 shirt at Newcastle and denied him from getting loads more England caps. Surely Sir Les along with Bowles, Marsh and Le Tissier is one of Englands most uncapped players). But wha...
