Re: Quick question

Personally I blame Richard Thompson. Yes the club was well run (compared to today) and was profit making, but to not really improve the playing staff and sell Darren Peacock/piss off Gerry Francis was a mistake which we've never recovered from. Both down to him I believe. As for Wilkins, didn't he g...

Re: Possibly only 9 points needed to avoid relegation ?

I like your positive analytic view but the worry is last season Rotherham were virtually relegated by Xmas so it was only 2 places up for grabs. This yr all 3 could easily go on a run and teams like Sunderland, hull, Birmingham and even Bolton perhaps shouldn't be where they are with their resources...

Re: Ingram recalled. Smithies off?

Is Ingram any good though? On the rare chances he's had at QPR (in the cups) we haven't done well.

Re: Transfer Rumour Thread: Jan 2018

This must be the quietest transfer window I can remember. Normally there's someone at the club, whether it be the manager', Les, TF etc making noises that we are looking to strengthen etc. But this year Ive heard nothing. They say silence is golden but it's also worrying. Does that mean Holloway has...

Re: Team vs MK Dons

Although without doubt this must be one of the most disappointing results so far this season (based on the opposition), it's hard to fault Holloway as this team should've been good enough to win regardless of what tactics we played. Seems to be from the reports and from those at the match that we de...

Re: Dalling joins

silly question maybe, but why do clubs have U23 sides? Bearing in mind that if they are 22 and not yet broken into the first team then surely that means they're not good enough for the current level/team they are at. So is the U23's the B-side/Reserve side?

I reckon we will win comfortably. I'm actually looking forward to it and who knows it could be the kick start we need.

Anyone know why Lualua went back to Brighton?

I didn't hear anything about us terminating his contract early, but I got a PS4 for Christmas and was playing Fifa18 and did a squad update and he suddenly disappeared from the QPR squad! I didn't see anything on the offish but Wikipedia says we ended his contract on 1st dec (it was until Jan18). Se...

Remembered him, it was Esteban Granero and Park Ji-sung who I had forgotten about and was another HUGE disappointment

Re: We could have told you that was going to happen....

When we managed to stay up in the Citeh game on the last day of the season, I genuinely believed that QPR would never be in that position again with Hughes in charge, after he confirmed that in front of the TV cameras. Let's not forget that run of home wins against Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and Stok...

Re: Mackie out for 3 months

It was a risk playing Smyth. Imagine the abuse Holloway would've got by some on here if we had lost, slating him from playing an untried player in such a must win game over the likes of Sylla, Ngbakto, LuaLua etc. Now he's getting abuse for not playing him sooner. Who'd want to be a manager? As for ...

Just asked Dave Mc about Mide and said quite bluntly he is not good enough
Is that Dave Mc's opinion or Holloways?

Ollie hit with an object thrown by a wall fan, hopefully knocked sum sense into him.
That's not nice even if said as a joke.

On the subject of no intensity, that's maybe something that Mackie and Washington offer?

Re: Olly vs JFH

We all want success at QPR, but if Holloway can turn us into a successful winning unit then it would be much more sweeter for most of us. After all, Ollie is one of us and if we could get to the promised land again and stay there it would be the icing on the cake to do this with Holloway, imo at lea...
