Re: Mr Goss keeping options open

Anyway post suicide spending Qpr - 500k on a player that had never played professional football before seemed very odd to me & so it's proving.

Like u say It is what it is move on, just think it could be a long while before you see us spend 500k on a player again.

Re: Mr Goss keeping options open

Your talking of Barton in a negative context, for all of his off field antics I thought he put a shift in & was one of the better signings in that dark period. And talking of our dark period it's imposible to compare any signings within that time to our current situation. Goss is part of the new er...

Re: Holy Grail or Holy Gruel.....

They've spent probably into the billions over the last decade, something would be very odd if they weren't slaying all before them.

Re: Mr Goss keeping options open

I think it is no more than Holloway thinks others can do better. He's obviously not pulled up and trees in training and is still young (ish) . He could still come good though as age is very much on his side. I would get him out on loan for the rest of season and see what he does. Not sure it's wort...

Re: Mr Goss keeping options open

It's baffling that Goss has not played a single second of a competitive game this season. We are shit out of form struggling in every dept & yet a 500k Man Utd signing hasn't touched a blade of grass all season. I assume he trains with the rest of the squad? Personally I think this should be brough...

Re: Three managerial suggestions

How many more points do you think we would have right now if pep or jose were incharge. It's a serious question Its not a serious proposition though is it ? So what's the point in asking the question ? I'm just wondering if others feel the team is the problem (quality wise) or the manger is (motiva...

How many more points do you think we would have right now if pep or jose were incharge. It's a serious question I'd be interested in your answer to your own question. It crossed my mind a while back & I thought it wouldn't make a lot of difference we are what we are. But on second thoughts I think ...

Re: Apparantly we are close to breaking FFP again

Our biggest win this season is 2-1. I don't think we'll be slaughtering anyone tbh. Slightly pedantic but it’s not. We beat Reading 2-0 first game of the season. Admittedly though we don’t look close to putting 3 past anyone atm and even if we profited from multiple OG’s, we’d probably conceed a si...

Re: Apparantly we are close to breaking FFP again

I'm puzzled that we still seem to be falling foul of FFP. It would be nice to see the figures but we obviously never will. The “belief” in the club that we can shift Caulker out seems like believing in fairy tales. Loaning him to a club in the middle east, or Malaysia, where alcohol is hard to come...

Re: Shooting

When? When what? When have they in any way consistently found a way to goal? When they do it's not exactly natural finishing but by hook or by crook they manage to get on the end of things. My original post was that all three strikers are not natural finishers, Washington being by far & away the wo...
