Re: Team vs Preston

Nice to see that the work in the January window appears to have been carefully thought through to add to the squad's depth, and credit to whoever has brought the squad to the position where we already had the likes of Hall, Smithies, Bidwell, Robinson, Lynch, Luongo, Wzsolek, Washington and others....

Re: Team vs Preston

Given Hall and Washington picked up knocks, I'd wonder if we line up as Smithies Perch - FURLONG Onouha Lynch Bidwell Manning Luongo Freeman Wzsolek Smith Mackie - Lua Lua Takes us back to the system which served us well at Reading and Newcastle - no sign of Goss or Morrison being match ready eithe...

Re: Lua Lua

I'd be more than happy to have the current crop signed permanently & get the youngsters back to see if they can make an impression.

Some real good options in the squad.

Re: Lua Lua

I would rather we brought Shodipo back in and we have Nbakoto and Mackie who can play in Lua Lua's position, not to mention Morrison. Lua Lua could give Mackie a 50mtr head start and still catch him, Mackie makes an impact & gives his all but he's legs aren't there anymore. Morrison is a no10 a cre...

Doesn't Mowbray's history suggest he is a "builder" rather than a "firefighter"?

I doubt I'd be happy if any owner we had chose to employ him as manager.
No Defo a football manager..
DefinItely a use of quotation marks to show "an unusual" usage.
Corrected for you Dave.

Re: Blackburn sack Coyle

Seems a strange and very quick appointment. I would not be happy if I was a rovers supporter. However, I'd be surprised if he can keep them up. Re: Blackburn sack Coyle

Apparantly the Venkys weren't aware of relegation when they took over Blackburn, also i believe they're meat & poultry empire is worth over 1bn dollars, they sold the likes of Rhodes,Gustede,Hanley & Duffy for around 29m & haven't spent a penny replacing them. I think it's safe to say Blackburn Rove...

Maintain our great record against Wigan in what was a pretty even game by the sounds of it.

Wow attack minded team Jesus, surely Luongo would have been the obvious replacement for Hall.

Re: Wigan

We've only played Wigan 15 times over the years & only lost twice.

Unbeaten against them since 2011.
