Re: Match Thread: Queens Park Rangers FC v Bolton Wanderers

Last season should be a lesson in making sure any tinkering with the side is done do with some balance. Enough senior pros to rest some players at different times. Think young Furlong deserves a run alongside a solid back line of senior players and then throw in the likes of Eze, Smyth or BOS. Woul...

Re: Match Thread: Queens Park Rangers FC v Bolton Wanderers

Don’t think it will take four wins to reach safety! The teams in the bottom three are in poor form, so safety will only require 45 points this year Don’t mind another four wins though! Perhaps, but it would be a gamble at 45 points to drop a lot of senior players to give the kids a go. I'd be happy...

Re: Match Thread: Queens Park Rangers FC v Bolton Wanderers

Another four wins and we'll be safe. Loads of teams below us now who cant buy a win.

Lets not put all the kids on the park until we're mathematical safe. I'd tell the players that the sooner we're safe the sooner your holidays start. Then get all the kids out there to see whst theyre made of.

Re: Caulker watch

On the score sheet tonite & had a hand in winning a pen but lost 3-2 in front of 3,700 Living the dream Steve living the dream. Reported that he turned down bigger contracts to sign for Dundee. And he reason he chose then was because his grandparents live in the area. Perhaps he's just wants to pla...

Re: Sean Goss

I watched part of the game, only a few minutes... but the standard was absolutely dire. Looked like a training session. With respect, he should be getting glowing reports every week if that’s what he’s up against. It was a cup game against a championship side, which is essentially League 2 or even ...

Re: Jack Robinson watch

Until FFP is sorted QPR will just try to survive and look to find a cheap gem.Afterwards who knows. Let's face it FFP has killed us. When it was first introduced it came as a sledge hammer to crack a nut the authorities realised this and soon changed it. Unfortunately we were caught under the old r...

Anyone know if he made the Dundee team as suggested by the Scottish press ?
No, not even the bench. Bit too soon after signing though so nothing to read into this.

Re: Pay at the BBC

It was hardly informative on its one sided anti Brexit stance. Bloody disgrace, if you want it as a Govt propaganda machine then fill ya boots.

Re: Pay at the BBC

But we all live in a 'trickle down' economy don't you know. For entrepreneurs not glorified civil servants working for the state broadcaster. If they want to pay these wages it should be privatised, TV licence scrapped and commercial revenues sought. I'll happily pay the licence fee to get o...

Re: Jack Robinson watch

The problem i believe is around money. As i have posted in the past the club is going to have to be self financing going forward. I am hearing that the max salary is not going to be a lot more than £5k a week . On this basis i am sure that a lot of our players will leave as they can simply secure m...

Agreed - criteria must be wider than having previously played for us. We already have a few badge kissers and coaching skills is the priority now.
