Re: Remy is apparently moving from chelsea.

Quite common story in modern football. The choice between money vs playing and doing your job/sport. Going to a rich club, where you can warm the bench or the seat in the stand takes money, but can halt your career. Do they mind ? It looks not....enough they load their current account...

Re: Transfer rumours

Having watched the highlights of our pre season I don't think we need any new players to avoid relegation, we just need to pick the right players, the right tactics and play them in their best positions. that is a sentence that I heard from an old very good - and wise - manager.... simply select th...

Re: Match Thread: Peterborough United v Queens Park Rangers FC

Matt Smith is no clinical finisher is he? Ngbakoto and Wzsolek look good. Not sure how Ollie justified benching those two so often towards the end of last season, hope he doesn't continue that trend. ....it was suicide.... Pavel is probably our more technical player.... remember his wonder goal to ...

To score Sylla needs to be on the pitch
..I could not agree more.....scoring from the bench or worse, from the stands is something that not even Lineker or Trevor Francis,
to mention the first two good strikers coming to my mind, could manage to do...

Re: Optimistic or pessimistic ?

The squad is, at the very least, a first choice CB and first choice striker short. Let's face it, scoring goals at one end and keeping them out at the other is how games are won. It's clear we have no transfer war chest and are struggling to attract the players we've targeted. This does not bode we...

Optimistic or pessimistic ?

...do you feel optimistic and see us on the top half of the table...with a chance to get near the play-offs...
or
pessimistic, in the lower part, fighting to survive..?

Perhaps we're hoping for a loan from Everton as part of the deal but it has to wait until they tie up other signings. Perhaps a forward as they are active in/out in that area?

Re: Transfer rumours

What would one season of a Tammy Abraham achieve - i know it's obviously more exciting, but unless it's the difference between being in a different division the season after (either way). Then you're not dealing with the problem of not having good enough players. ..as I said the kind of player I li...

Think back to the Summer of 2010 - were any of us rejoicing the signings of Kenny, Hill, Derry & Mackie?? ...well...I would not forget the fact that a certain Adel Something worked as he could to push us up.... in the meantime I read that Tammy Abraham has joined Swansea on loan from the scum....ki...
