Re: A lot of positives today

Call me a bit unorthodox but most folk can enjoy the odd bottle or crate, but few can pick up the tab long haul. It's no longer Uniigate and Littlewoods.

Re: Clark Carlisle

Agreed Some on here must be a right laugh down the pub!! Theres always some pillock looking to take the moral high ground and be offended. It'...

Re: Clark Carlisle

Probably my favourite ever player. Evidently a smart man, but there is nothing more than a lose, statistically insignificant correlation between mental illness and intelligence.

Re: Goodbye Motty

Never an incisive analyst but clearly a lover of the game, Motty became like a pair of old slippers; probably past it a long time ago but just part of the everyday. For me he's been okay and there are other commentators I find far more annoying than him. Any female ones you care to mention, dm?? Lol

Re: No plans to sell QPR Tony Fernandes

Typical R's. Have a highly paid waster on the books who doesn't even make the bench, rarely turns up for practice and will leave on a free at the end of the season.

Re: Any predictions

And the winners are:

Weagerle (from match thread) and a special mention for keeping the match thread going single handedly for the first three posts
An honourable mention to SM for his accurate prediction here.

And a big up to all. No FFS's in any of the match threads so far this season

Booing one of our own is bang out of order irrespective of personal circumstances. I don't think he's especially good, but i wouldn't boo him.
Totally agree, but Bosingwa may have been the exception that proved the rule.

Hull's Michael Hector says “As a team, we want to keep as many clean sheets as possible, because if you keep a clean sheet you know you’re not going to lose the game. I feel as though we’ve defended well in spells during our first three games, but sometimes a lack of concentration or silly mistakes...
