Re: Mr Goss keeping options open

Maybe if our forwards were able to hold the ball up and create space they'd get more goals. At the moment you're effectively asking them to create their own chances and regularly rifle the ball in the net from 20 yards through a crowd of players or weave through a congested penalty area. I agree Luo...

Re: Brum highlights

http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/11173673/birmingham-1-2-qpr Lovely winner from Jack. Awful fumble from Smithies for their equaliser, and a shocking shank from Washington. A couple of off-target headers. Job done. Lord knows, we needed that. Let's hope we can rain - or at least drizzle - on Bri...

Re: It says everything that ...

Yes, it says that we have a fantastic player on our hands, and the manager deserves credit for helping him to develop into one of the best CBs in the division. He chucked him in out of necessity (after often favouring Bidwell) and he's looked good from the off, probably due to being a class player ...

Re: Mr Goss keeping options open

Largely flipping useless, but when we were in the PL Joey Barton persisted at trying to play at a level that was simply well beyond his ability. A bit of yelling and pointing won't change that, especially when it's to make up for one of his own misplaced passes. As i say, in the champ he was a bit b...

Re: Mr Goss keeping options open

There where many games where he would swan around trying stupid passes. He did a reasonable job for us in the Championship, but that's the least that should be expected.

Re: His name is PAWEL

I think it's more like Pavaww (imagine the final part to be similar to the noise an Australian spinner might make after short leg has failed to hold onto a catch after a carefully laid plan) and i think the Surname is along the lines of Zjowek but i'm probably well off. I’m married to one of ‘em so...

Re: 3 x 6 losing matches

We're utter rubbish NOW. I don't see why we need to wait until we achieve a nice round milestone of 3 x 6. Can't people see that Ollie is just not a modern football manager? His sole tactic of give 110% is sadly not one that gets results in this day and age. If it wasn't Ollie we were talking about...

Re: Shooting

Idoubt if Washington has anything left untapped in his “skillset”. Same for Smith. There's still hope that Sylla may come good but I wouldn't bet on it. ', When we signed Washington i read a P'boro fan say he was still developing as a striker. Now i know what you mean, but there is the possibility ...

Re: Just back....

You could have got a flight to the beautiful city of Turin & watched Juventus v Inter, just as cold Giorgio but atleast the players on the pitch would have matched your passion & commitment. ...well...I really hate Juventus...cheating bastards...and honestly do not like Inter too... in Italy only m...

Re: His name is PAWEL

Well if you want to be pedantic and it appears you do, his name isn't Pawel, it's Paweł. Generally, in Polish the 'w' is pronounced as a 'v' would be in English and the 'ł' is closer to an English 'w'.

Re: Centre backs v Leeds

When they're all fully fit, there are some interesting choices to be made at CB. I think Robinson is now a first pick, and I would partner him with Ned and Hall if we keep a back 3. Yep, agreed. nice balance with both Chief and Robinson being right and left footed and having experience at fullback....
