pre-Birmingham

I see Mr Ian is saying the boys feel they've not been getting their just desserts during our depressing recent run, not to mention our horrendous record on the road. Really? I was there in the 0-4 capitulation at Forest, and, if they were hot knives, we were the obliging blue and white butter. At De...

Re: Apparantly we are close to breaking FFP again

It seems unbelievable that we could be in ongoing danger of falling foul of FFP in 2018, after all the 'root and branch' surgery supposedly having taken place in the club. I share the sinking/sickening feeling. It's not why I fell in love with QPR, or football, but it seems to be an inextirpable vir...

Re: Brum.....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but our last away win back in February came, did at not, at . . . Birmingham. Where we did this to them, with Sylla, Washington and Smith all getting among the goals, and could have scored six. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6_yqCcSe0g After the game, IH said: 'We had some...

Re: Shooting

Those who train the squad in shooting want shooting themselves! Our goal-shy forward line/s is now wearily well-documented, but sadly matters are compounded by the lack of goalscoring midfielders/wingers/anyone at the club. Scowen - goalless Luongo - a truly terrible 2 in 75 Freeman - 4 in 26 . . . ...

Just out of interest, Giorgio, how/why did you become a QPR supporter for your sins?

Re: QPR v Leeds Match Thread

Ok we all knew the front line was weak, but so did Olly who tried to get someone in all summer. But in all fairness, the side have been badly hit by our defensive injury crisis and it is a crisis. Our slump in form/results has happened ever since Nedum got injured and the subsequent other injuries....

QPR v Leeds Match Thread

Onuoha and Chair both starting, looks like Wszolek at right back, the dream team (ahem) of Washington and Smith up front. Hall on bench.

Leeds haven't won in London since March 2015, according to the BBC. :(

Weirdly, though, I fancy us to win 2-0.

Re: Gerry Francis... Leaving WBA

Fighting Relegation at the bottom of the second tier. I am simply staggered you do not think he can help. As I said Muppets If memory serves, last time Gerry was here, he took us down from the 2nd tier in effect (jumping ship to protect himself in advance). This is also the same man who rated Rob S...

Re: Mackie Red card

It was a ridiculous red, as indicated by Mackie's incredulous reaction. Badly-timed/clumsy at worst, certainly not malicious. It should certainly be appealed, but now seems it's going to stand. That said, I tend to agree Jamie hasn't been doing enough of late to warrant his selection. Mind you, who ...

Potty Olly on Offish

“We’ve gone from not getting beat in October to not getting what we deserved in November , so we want a good December. We’ve some tough games though starting with Preston.” Eh? We rightly got stuffed at Forest, swatted aside at Derby, and apparently justly beaten at home to Villa. Just what is he on?

Re: Here is one to shock some

He probably meant no other available manager I think he probably did. I am no Holloway fan or apologist but with zero funds we would need another enthusiast like perhaps Ainsworth. I cannot imagine potential managers queuing up to come here under our circumstances. I didn't give too much thought wh...

Re: Free kicks analyzed - excellent article

My thoughts exactly - can anyone remember the last time we even executed (let alone scored from) a well-worked and eyecatching free kick? It was probably one of Adel's.

Re: Return to Sender

A real damp squib of a loan! Did very little for us, then his dad dies, and it seems to be game over. Doubly frustrating, as, when on song, he's just the kind of tricky winger with a lick of speed we desperately need. (Well, one of the things we desperately need anyway.)

Amazed to learn he's a budding international striker for Ireland - just can't see it. Mind you - could he score fewer goals than Washington?

Re: Preston prediction

Wearily, I must concur. After the sweet buzz vs the Bees, I predict we'll be pants at the Lilywhites.
