As can be seen from people's choices for a starting eleven in any game there is a wide diversity of choices and every player is not even fit yet!
That's a pretty damning indictment of the lot of them! :D

Re: 2nd best team in the championship in 2017 (so far)

On the morning of 31st Dec, we were just 1 place above the relegation zone on 23pts. This is the points tally since then. 1) 29 HUDDS 2) 27 LEEDS, CARD, QPR 5) 26 NEWC 6) 25 FUL, PNE 8 ) 24 NOR 9) 23 BRIGHT 10) 22 SWEDS 11)21 READ, BRENT 13) 20 BLACK 14) 17 BARNS, WOLVES 16)16 AVILLA, BURTON, WIGAN...

Re: Match Thread: Queens Park Rangers FC v Rotherham United

So he should. If our last chance saloon Lazio loanee can't turn it on when we're 4-1 up at home against the Champ's whipping boys, I'd ship him back to Italy before you can say arrivederci!

Re: Match Thread: Queens Park Rangers FC v Rotherham United

Let's see if we can hit them for six or seven. No mercy, Rangers! Nice to see Luongo getting on the scoresheet - is that his first league goal (or any goal) for us in nearly 60 apps? It's well overdue. According to the BBC, it seems this could relegate Rothers this w/end. Looking at the table, they ...

Re: Team for Rotherham...

Whatever the line-up, our only thought must be to hammer another nail into their relegation coffin with as much relish and panache as we can muster. Not least to expunge the memory of that dismal defeat up there in December, when IH made his er, idiosyncratic, 'these results are imposters' post-matc...

Re: Steve McLaren sacked by Derby

Utterly ridiculous - he's been back 5 months, and Derby (though they're on a bit of a bad run) could still make the play-offs from 10th! Their stupidly 'entitled' club now deserves to plummet!

Football management has become an unmanageable joke!

We should have kept him as a defensive coach/squad player!

Latest Caulker unsavouryness/arrest

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4306542/40-000-week-footballer-Steven-Caulker-arrested.html Could anyone remind me why we're still paying him, or what we're paying him to do? He's becoming a serial embarrassment to himself and the club. The humane part of me wants him booked into whatever la...

Warnock's post-match comments

http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/warnock-qpr-long-ball-time-now A bit sad from Neil - wounded words/bad loser or just mean-spirited? I guess like most managers he needs to talk himself up whenever possible, but does he really need to? It also makes him look a bit of a tit. The equaliser was a grea...

Didn't look either to me, and I rather liked IH's remark that 'his leg has got to go somewhere'. What was his first booking for, you 'just backs'?

Re: Preston NE highlights 25.02.17

Just seen the 'incident' provoking the 2nd Freeman yellow, and I am both maddened and mystified. Cannot for the life of me see what he did wrong, and if anything, it looks like their player went in studs up, and should have been carded. Our man's reaction/body language also bespeaks genuine perplexi...

Re: Match Thread: Preston North End v Queens Park Rangers FC

The Washington goal that never stood, and now this (though I haven't seen the bookings incidents), really make you sick. The ghostly 4th officials usually seem ineffectual, if not actually inept, and rarely if ever appear to foster the correct application of the laws. And it always seems to be us th...

Re: Stan - Benefit Match

I have mailed Ian Taylor at QPR about this.

Arguably, the club should pay for it, organise it, and enjoy the reflected glory. End of.

Sadly for Stan, he gambled and boozed all his money away. He probably could have put down a sizeable deposit on a care home with his signing on fee to Forest alone.

post-Birmingham notes and queries

1. Interesting to see Luongo dropping to the bench now Freeman has come in, and that's not even factoring Goss into the picture. (Is he still getting fit?) 2. I've favoured the idea of trying a Smith/Sylla front two at some stage, but have to admit, despite not being his No.1 fan, Washington has mad...

Re: Well done Ollie

He seems to have had an effect: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38998199 Shame it's not a manager of the month award. Agreed, especially if we get tanked at Birmingham on Saturday then he'll be facing a Wenger themed dilemma, whether to step down now or later. Oh - please go to bed!
