Re: Freeman and the midfield

I'd say we're also massively hampered (Freeman's consolation goal this week nothwithstanding) by the lack of goals from our midfield, as well as our strike force. (Our shortage of goals from everywhere, then. aniwall )

Re: Red Card

Parkinson called the referee a 'homer' and said all the decisions went our way. Exactly why is that not an open and shut case of bringing the game into disrepute by smearing the integrity of the officials? Bitter twat! Accordingly, I look forward to seeing the authorities throwing the book at him an...

Re: Red Card

Here are the strangely edited highlights. http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sp ... 2-0-bolton Having set it up, Smith actually looks pissed off when the second (first) goal goes in - adding to Sky's upside down editorial weirdness. It ieminded me of when Clive Allen hit the post from about a yar...

Re: Red Card

It was a pretty agricultural challenge to say the least, and Luongo (who from what I saw showed one or two nice bits of twinkly-toed footwork today) could have come a cropper. To be fair, the player himself didn't seem to want to argue, so I don't know why his manager did.

Re: Caulker watch

Fair dos - even money is a bit OTT! But I do take quite a lot of what comes out of Ollie's mouth with a soupcon of salt these days regardless. What is it about QPR that bends over (no homophobia intended) and takes it up the shitter from these 'players' - from Hateley to Rowan Vine, SWP to Boswanker...

Re: Jack Robinson watch

The defender's contract is due to expire in the summer, and the 24-year-old says that while he wants his future to be sorted, his focus is on playing well for the Hoops . QPR's Jack Robinson has confirmed that talks are underway about extending his contract at Loftus Road. The defender's contract i...

Re: Caulker watch

Don't really understand his implicit dig at QPR/Ollie, as our manager told the world he'd pulled out all the stops for him. So one or t'other must be telling porky pies . . . naughty (Given Ollie's love of massaging his own media image, I'd say it's even money either way.) So from occasionally playi...

Re: Curtis Fleming leaves for middlesboro

Doesn't exactly say much for his commitment to the QPR 'project', or working with Ollie, I'd suggest. Won't be shedding too many tears about his departure. But I do think IH does/will need new help.

Re: Caulker watch

Didn't Ollie say something truly bizarre when he walked away about we'd given him a certain number of games, so he could have a free transfer - even though he'd hardly featured? Just sounded to me like the club sticking two fingers up to the supporters on top of everything! How much has he cost us a...

Luongo on post-Brizzle 'big meeting'

https://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/massimo-luongo-discusses-massive-meeting-14234278    You do get the impression our manager shows one face to the media, and then fails to follow through with the players. I start to wonder if that's part of the problem at...

Re: Transfer Rumour Thread: Jan 2018

It is what it is I'm afraid. I was looking at the deals done recently and saw that Burton are now buying players who would be out of our wage bracket, i.e. Darren Bent. Hopefully that gives the Ollie knockers an idea of the task he has in hand trying to keep us in the division. They haven't bought ...

Re: In, out, shake it all about....

As far as I know, JET touched down during the Ramsey era, who told us: "He is already a very good player, but his potential to keep improving is fantastic. This is now a real opportunity for him to really kick on." Clearly, a great eye for a player, as we've been told, Mr Chris. Only trouble is, it'...
