Re: Transfer Rumour Thread: Jan 2018

All the signs are Ollie is going to have generate his own transfer funds this window as the cheque book has been snapped shut on Uncle Tony's fingers by Ruben et al.... The only movement has been out as the squad is trimmed with no funds being made from them... So who is a saleable item for this win...

Re: Do we sign a striker this month?

Matt Smith has scored the most headed goals in the division, and that's without wingers and not playing all games. I know he has limited ability but if we played to his strengths , who knows where it could get us. oh we have an international class winger it's just he's either playing at wing back o...

Re: Ian Holloway

There were 6,000 of us at the game which included about 2,000 MK fans....so only a puny 4,000 Rs fans showed up for it. I wish I’d come shopping with you and your missus! Ollie moaned about the Ellerslie Road stand being closed which affected the atmosphere....That attendance was the reaction to th...

Re: Team vs MK Dons

Ollie played a strong team.... I won't have a go for that...

Losing against the run of the play happens...

What was the crowd today?

I bet it was affected due to the Brentford league cup match.... We got a game on the 28th or did our league opponents win?

Re: Onto Saturday and MK Dons

I've given up bothering to attend on Cup games. If Ollie can't be arsed to field a proper team why should I bother? Part of me expects to be entertained when I go to a football match and another part of the deal is I support my team / they support me by showing effort etc. Turning up to watch 1/2 a...

Re: Match Thread: Queens Park Rangers FC v Cardiff City

Something similar happened in a Crystal Palace game last season.... The indirect "offside" free kick was taken in the opposing half... The FA / FIFA tinkers with rule changes every season, sometimes good.... sometimes bad.... For instance this season... Kick off... One player can now stand in the op...

Re: Match Thread: Queens Park Rangers FC v Cardiff City

Yes, another duffo ref. It seemed earlier in the season that there had been a magical improvement in standards but no, they've reverted to type now. The free kick for offside that Cardiff took in our half was relatively unimportant but embarrasing for the ref when it dawns on him. Just seen Lee gib...

Re: Alex Ferguson always used to say ...

Loved the fact we out Warnock'ed Warnock with the long throw from Robinson coming up trump's after god knows how many they threw into the box.... Some real issues defensively with Ned nearly gifting a few to Cardiff.... No width on the right again, Ollie has another get out of jail free card with th...

Austin is a poacher (a bloody good one though...) of goals.. This lad actually reminded me of another English striker from years ago who had pace to burn when he was young and before injuries took their toll.... Wow the way he skinned Bamba? was phenomenal and the aplomb he took his goal was breatht...

Re: Marc Bircham

Fair enough. Yep agreed MB seems a heart-on-sleeve guy and not questioning his commitment to the cause, more it should be someone’s job to figure out an approach to scoring goals. Perhaps we need Glenn Hoddle back as another coach to help out a la Fleming. The amount of wingers the club has vs not ...
