Re: Domestic crisis.

Only unfit to be a Minister though.....bit of touching up is fine as you can continue as an MP. Except you said "girls" which would make it a criminal matter, unless you were erroneously referring to "young women". I use the term girl for any bit of skirt up to 30. edrool Phew. Re: Don't you just know

I can understand the OP being nervous. We're all familiar with the QPR Benevolent Society surrendering three points to previously struggling sides and the QPR Lame Performance Sky syndrome. Frankly we need to lay these ghosts once and for all. You have articulated almost exactly how I feel. It was ...

Re: Quick match report - good & bad..

In the context of our recent cup performances, this is one of our greatest over giant-killing acts.

Re: Gigs

The Divine Comedy, Petula Clark (I kid you not), and Marillion in the next few days. And Richard Thompson, Show of Hands, and Pierce Brothers. And the rather brilliant CC Smugglers. :-) Show of Hands are good fun. Like most folkies, they peddle a bit of an agenda, but you can ignore that. And they'...

I shall go and sit down and think about that.
Chair coming off the bench - you couldn't make it up...
Especially if we play him up front with Eze.
Or Zidane.

Re: Sky preview of the Championship - QPR

I think we now have such a history of botch jobs that the media are no longer interested in humouring us. We're like the perennially ill child in a school class who the teacher decides is probably just best left alone when they eventually come in rather than trying to challenge them. That's a reall...

Do England fans still sing 'No surrender to the IRA' when you play Ireland?
What's that got to do with anything?

Re: Women playing sport..

In most sports there is the assumption that the men's game is the default, if not the 'proper' version. Football, women's football; rugby, women's rugby; cricket, women's cricket, etc. The only exception I can think of is hockey, men's hockey. And, boy, do some of them have to overcompensate.

Re: Women playing sport..

A few of my mates were in thailand and got chatting toba few swedish girls. The conversation got around to football and the girls said they played back home, so my mates challenged them to a 5 a side game in the beach. Unfortunately my mates got thrashed!! Three of the girls played for the Swedish ...
