The conversation got around to football and the girls said they played back home, so my mates challenged them to a 5 a side game in the beach. Unfortunately my mates got thrashed!! Three of the girls played for the Swedish ...

I'm nearly as old as Methuselah, 222. But nowhere near the DAVEf vintage. Most without workplace or private pensions will be stuffed in the future. It's good that employers have to offer them but employees still have the right to opt out. Where is DAVEf these days ? Teaching English grammar to kids...

Re: Mrs May

We have an NHS that keeps people alive longer - in some cases it seems just for the sake of keeping them alive. When the original state pension was introduced, by the Liberal Party, 80% of men didn't make it to 65. Most of us don't want to pay more tax or NI so the only choice left is to manage the ...

Imagine asking someone how much they are paid "to the nearest £50k".......amazing.
Like nearly all footballers - "he gets 30 or 40k a week" is often heard. That band is over half a million!

I hope they declare is as annual salaries rather than football's disingenuous and insulting 'weekly' crap.

i had forgotten about that Arsenal thrashing. i remember Crouchie missed a good chance at 0-0, maybe hit the post?
Scrambled off the line, IIRC. We were unlucky not to be ahead at the break. We were lucky it was only 0-6 at the end.

The ones at the bottom of the social strata are educated/brainwashed(you choose) - to believe that they too can climb to the top of the pile - which is obviously a lie for the vast majority. The wealthy and powerful fear only one thing... solidarity amongst the 90% of the world not in their positio...

Can you image a pint with John Major and getting to hear all the Edwina details after he's sunk the seventh? Yuk Nah, it would be more likely to be about his love of garden peas. ...
