Shocking QPR admin - did anyone else notice ?

It really is amateurish to say the least when the scoreboard was showing at half-time and full=time today that tickets were still available for our away game on Tuesday 20th February to Sheffield Wednesday - yes that's right 'Wednesday' it said. This really is so so poor that such a glaring error wa...

Re: Bolton

Inbetween the two home games we are away to the Blades in midweek and I just have a sneaky feeling that we will win there 1-0.

Re: Match Thread: Queens Park Rangers FC v Barnsley

A rather bleak game on a bleak afternoon, but job done and the league table looks more encouraging especially with Wolves away impending. Was Luongo left out because of his comments on Holloway's Monday meeting ? Cousins was a poor replacement despite playing in a slightly more central role. The te...

Re: Today

With Bolton winning last night and Birmingham winning earlier in the week I think today is going to be a very important one. Win and it will look comfortable again, lose and we will be right in the relegation pack. If there was a day when we all need to be there and doing what we can to support the...

Re: Do we have enough to survive?

Don't panic folks, just keep an eye on my regular post concerning this season's prediction !

All is in order so far - I'm still predicting/forecasting a 16th place finish.

Keep the faith.

Re: Possibly only 9 points needed to avoid relegation ?

And Sunderland,Birmingham and Bolton will go on a winning run. Things will get worrying. But six wins is got to be possible .....and if they do, which is a big 'if', what about Burton, Barnsley, Hull etc., they can't all go on winning runs. Last season, there were teams at the bottom who hit a bit ...

Possibly only 9 points needed to avoid relegation ?

I know the subject title will raise a few eyebrows, but looking at the current league table after Saturday's games and purely looking at matters from an analytical point of view, it is possible that 9 points could achieve our safety, let me explain : Currently Burton occupy 22nd place with 24 points...

Re: IJM's Pesky Prediction

mmmm, I think I need some serious medication... when we win, all is well with the club, it's turned the corner, good things happening, right people in place, youth coming through yesterday, when I saw the team I thought Holloway had lost his conkers....then we go and win :D when we lose, the whole ...

IJM's Pesky Prediction

I've titled this new subject as above as I recently saw a post relating to 'IJM's pesky prediction' - which made me smile. Anyway after difficult December/Christmas/New Year and today's fixture(s), the end of season prediction continues to show a consistency as follows : P46 W15 D12 L19 F53 A62 Pts ...

Re: Team vs Burton

Tidy finish with his left foot after making the chance for himself. Thanks Damien. He's never going to cut the mustard in my opinion if we want to move forward next season, but it can only be good for his confidence 🙂 Genuinely pleased for the lad. He's a NI lad... so doubly pleased. Should of had ...

Re: Team vs MK Dons

No idea why Cousins is still at wingback, especially when he's ideal for replacing Luongo in the middle. No strikers on the bench, does Sylla have a knock or is it a sign he might be off? Worrying if so. Hardly worrying if Sylla is off, he can join Washington in the departure lounge. Both have been...

Re: Can’t see Ollie lasting much longer

Warnock terrible record against Ollie, Cardiff terrible record against Qpr of late. The history was in our favour & so it proved. Not sure about your second sentence Lala, they beat us 0-2 at their place earlier this season, or was it 1-2 ? Anyway they still beat us. I will take this opportunity in...

Re: QPR raiding Posh once again?

I was having lunch in an Italian restaurant in Peterborough recently and who should be sitting on the very next table talking very loudly about football, agents, scouts, owners, Managers etc., was one Barry Fry. I was so very tempted to ask him to take CW back, so any thought of signing other player...

Prediction consistency

I still can't help updating on this subject from time to time, but after our recent appauling run, we are still on target to finish off the season 3 points ahead of last season's total of 53 points, giving us a 16th place, 56 point finish. Approaching the halfway point of the season, our results aga...

Re: On to Bristol City.....

I was half thinking not to bother, the kids didn't seem fussed and the parents (who also have ST next to us) could take or leave, however it's amazing what a win does. Now thinking I will bother and the kids seem keen :D (I know we should be there in the good and bad times, loyal supporters and all...
