Re: Apparantly we are close to breaking FFP again

I'm puzzled that we still seem to be falling foul of FFP. It would be nice to see the figures but we obviously never will. The “belief” in the club that we can shift Caulker out seems like believing in fairy tales. Loaning him to a club in the middle east, or Malaysia, where alcohol is hard to come...

Re: Apparantly we are close to breaking FFP again

If it's more than just journalistic speculation, however, I think it'll be a big further dent in the credibility of Hoos (whom I often find irritating, whatever his managerial credentials), Ferdinand and Fernandes. What should/could they have done differently? They're on the post-iceberg Titanic wi...

Re: I'll give this to Ollie

He's a courageous man. Putting out that ball playing team with two out and out ball playing midfielders (one of them knee high to the Leeds centre backs) and trying to beat that big, strong Leeds team by playing football for at least 45 minutes. He's a brave man. No-one knows where we'll end up in ...

Re: I'll give this to Ollie

We'll obviously cross that bridge when we come to it. But I can sympathise with Ollie. And I felt his selection was right on the face of it. As also stated, we do need a quick winger though. We need Bright to get up to speed pdq Might help if he played him - he'll never get up to speed otherwise

It was a rare light moment in an otherwise fundamentally bleak and depressing afternoon.
The words bleak & depressing are banned on this board, you can only sugar coat everything & express deluded views that everything is hunky dory.

Direct message from the top.

Re: How long does Holloway have?

Albert, I wish you'd post more stuff like this instead of acting the troll. I agree with you regarding Ollie's tactics. They can baffle me at the best of times. The only way I can understand his reluctance to play wide men is to protect the defence by playing a narrow formation. Not that it did us ...

Re: How long does Holloway have?

Of course things aren't good at the moment....thats an understatement but any team that has had as many defensive injuries as we've had must surely make a difference? Lynch..Perch, Ned,.Hall,Furlong... I think anybody including the likes Man City Everton Swansea ,whoever.., that loses 4/5 potential...

Re: QPR v Leeds Match Thread

Ok we all knew the front line was weak, but so did Olly who tried to get someone in all summer. But in all fairness, the side have been badly hit by our defensive injury crisis and it is a crisis. Our slump in form/results has happened ever since Nedum got injured and the subsequent other injuries....

You're full of shit and know nothing about Francis lala, as you clearly demonstrate. You just like to talk garbage to draw attention to yourself. Go and get a hobby and leave off pestering the internet and annoying people. Go on then enlighten me what don't I know about Francis? Draw attention to m...

Re: Centre backs v Leeds

According to the offish, Onouha may be in contention https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/ollie-on-injuries/ I kinda hope he doesn't make it for this one. He'll be rusty against a good, fast side, won't have anyone really reliable next to him, and will likely get caught out at some point and then t...

Re: Gerry Francis... Leaving WBA

Muppets. It is obvious Ollie needs help. Its a no brainer just go and get him in any capacity you can.Full time ,part-time I do not care. Why do you think WBA wanted him to stay? It is because he knows more about football than anybody Rangers could ever hope for. Come on Les.... I don't think he nee...

Re: Match Thread: Preston North End v Queens Park Rangers FC

And never after a win oddly enough. Well, I'd be waiting an awfully long time, wouldn't I? It's just incredible that people on here prefer not winning for 17 away games to having a proper manager like Warnock leading a promotion charge. That level of supreme stupidity deserves the dream team of Fer...
