Re: Sheffield

A 1 or 2 goal reversal for me. Thought we put quite a lot into the game on Saturday and this one will come to soon for the players or management team to recharge their batteries and get their heads around what is needed. Additionally I have a horrible feeling that Ollie will persist with his Washing...

Re: Freeman and the midfield

My view from the half-way line: 1.That's the type of player Freeman is. A dribbler. He's not a one toucher. Chris Waddle, John Robertson and Lee Trundle were probably guilty of keeping their heads down but if you want to go past a player I'd suggest its probably best to keep your eyes focussed on th...

Re: Forever Rs

The most obvious one which springs to mind is Gavin Peacock but I imagine his return has to coincide with a visit back to the UK

Re: Thermals and hot air

We can't do a Bournemouth. They broke FFP rules when they went up. I don't think that would be a very good idea.

Re: Thermals and hot air

Very good points rbee In terms of the original post I care very very little for the perception that the media or my Man U, Everton and Tottenham supporting colleagues have of QPR. So long as those associated with the club do their best to make the club the best it can then that is fair enough for me...

Re: Jack Robinson watch

The thing is that there is no alternative so I don't see any point in all the TF bashing. Yes, he made some very unwise business decisions but at least he is now trying to get us back on an even keel and I think you are doing him a dis-service in that, one way or another the club has got involved in...

Re: Match Thread: Wolverhampton Wanderers v Queens Park Rangers FC

Have we ever got anything away playing Washington as a lone striker ? Difficult fixture made all the more hard by a poor selection.

Team for tomorrow/prediction

Have seen on the Offish that Luongi is out. With Borysiuk and Goss gone and Manning suspended I can only think that Cousins will occupy the third spot in centre midfield. No doubt Ollie will go for a fairly defensive 5 man defence. I think the team will be: Smithies Perch Robinson Scowen Onuoha Lync...

Re: Season Tickets 2018 / 2019...

I didn't renew during the Hughes era because I hated what we were becoming but I have renewed every year since and will definitely be renewing next season. Even if we go down.

I don't get this ...

... if he was under contract and the club didn't want him to go how come he has left ?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42958735

In any event its good that he is already in the area so that he doesn't have to move again when he gets sacked in 4 months

Re: Curtis Fleming leaves for middlesboro

He's done well, and it's a bit daft to not recognise that during a season in which we have had major injuries to Onuoha, Hall, Perch, Lynch and Furlong. The scratch defence with Robinson and Baptiste at its heart performed better than could have been expected. Fleming and Olly have also made the ba...

Re: Formation today

Thought Barnsley were quite good up until the points when we went 1-0 up and then down to ten. They needed to change things at those points but didn't. At times they had four at the back when we only had one up front. They will go down if they persist in being so predictable when 1-0 down. I agree w...

Re: Curtis Fleming leaves for middlesboro

GF wouldn't be a good appointment in my opinion. I couldn't see him adapting to the flexible formations which Ollie seems to be putting in place, and which I think we need. He always seemed to play exactly the same formation if I remember rightly. That was OK back in the day but things work differen...

Re: Curtis Fleming leaves for middlesboro

Shame if true. I think he has done a good job.

I'm sure most defensive coaches would try to get 5 lined up across the back, two defensive midfielders in front of the centre backs and the wide midfielders doubling up with the full backs.

But Curtis seems to have worked with Ollie well.

Re: Formation today

The number of times our player looked up to Robinson's side of the pitch looking for an out and was confronted by a large patch of grass was incredible. There simply was noone there. The tactics were simple. Hoof it up to Smith hope for a knockdown or for Freeman to do something. Frankly Holloway a...
