Luke & Pawel

LIstening to the QPR podcast this week, the lads brought up something I hadn't noticed. Apparently Luke Freeman and Pavel Wszolek haven't been passing to each other. Anyone else picked up on this and do we think we're going back to the bad old days of the divided dressing room. Pawel's recent form h...

Re: EFL cup 2nd round

Not happening. We're unseeded, owing to our league position last year. Could be Brentford or Fulham!

Re: Interview with Steven Caulker in The Guardian

I understand the owners POV as they just want shot of his wages, but I wonder whether Holloway sees this as an opportunity to save Caulker in the way that he couldn't with Clarke Carlisle. I for one would love to see Caulker pay us back in performances but it feels like its too far gone. I also wond...

Re: We need a striker! We need a striker!

We then sign a striker and fans are still not happy. Matt Smith, may not be an exciting signing, but he is a striker, gives us something different and we desperately need options up front. I was saying during Burton that when Sylla was being ineffective against that lump Ben Turner that the player ...

Re: American Takeover

Realistically, what other reason are they likely to have ? Love of the beautiful game ? Perhaps someone found oil in W12 and our American cousins are coming to 'liberate' us? Sorry I didn't quite put this right. I meant trying to make money by selling all our assets and trying to do everything on t...

Re: Ollie & The problem with modern football

There are parallels between the first time he took over and now. We were in a financially precarious situation owing to the loss of the parachute payments. The man has a huge job to keep us out of the relegation zone this time too. While I completely agree with your comments on fans' expectations b...

Re: Ollie & The problem with modern football

Which is why we should never have sacked JFH. There was no instant gratification so he was sacrificed despite the signs of flourishing as a club being there. He was doing an awful lot right but the results and the style was indifferent, yes indifferent, not shit, not the worst I have ever seen etc....

Re: Ollie & The problem with modern football

Spot on about expectations and patience levels. Problem is, part of the reason we are here is that we've fired the last two managers due to higher expectations and low patience levels. JFH's football wasn't great but he was doing what he'd been asked to do, get midtable and reshape the team. Ramsey...
