Re: Do we sign a striker this month?

If we sign anyone at all, and I don't care if we do, it should be a striker. The youngsters are bonuses for this season, and it would be a gamble to rely on Smith, Wash and Syl given their returns so far. So yes, a cheap striker on low wages, who's going to bang them in, yes please.

Re: Ian Holloway

Clement wasn't interested in the manager's job before, so highly unlikely he would come back as a coach. I also think we could do with whatever the contemporary version of Kenny Jackett is, although we have improved considerably this season - bar the ability to actually put the ball in the net. I th...

Re: Match Thread: Queens Park Rangers FC v Cardiff City

Damien, you're a miserable, moaning old tosser who hasn't got a clue about football, but your presence on the board brightens the place up no end. Don't go anywhere, will you?

Re: Match Thread: Queens Park Rangers FC v Cardiff City

Now watch the mouth breathers demand he start every game and slag him off after he hasn't scored in 3.

Re: Tonight's Ref..

That's quite a thing to admit lala, sorry to hear it.

Sounds like you have an impressive knowledge of this particular niche, and there's still plenty of time for a red.

Re: Tonight's Ref..

Thanks lala, I enjoyed reading that but you didn't answer the question. How much have you made? I have made precisely 0 from gambling, but did have a nice result when SWP scored against Chelsea at something like 30-1. And also, interested in your devotion to the cause, but do you also study the data...

Re: Tonight's Ref..

I'd love to know how much 10 years studying 'cards in football' has yielded. I ask this as it would be good to know whether it is a better alternative to, say, studying medicine. Do tell.

Yes, it says that we have a fantastic player on our hands, and the manager deserves credit for helping him to develop into one of the best CBs in the division.

Re: pre-Birmingham

I think if Hall starts it will coincide with a return to form. I seem to recall that we have impressive 'with Hall in the side' win ratios from previous seasons.

Re: Mr Goss keeping options open

They're a good trio, and they are perfectly fine size-wise, unless you are Tony Pulis. But they should be producing more goals, and more threat. That seemed to be the case earlier on in the season, but Freeman seems to have gone off the boil a bit, and Luongo has been a bit in and out for the last m...

Re: Mr Goss keeping options open

You haven't been watching the same games as me Giorgio.

Hasn't Freeman been involved in more goals than any other Championship player? Or is this just wishful thinking on my part. Whatever, this current midfield is far better than any we have had for a long time.
