Re: QPR v Leeds Match Thread

Nice to see Osayi-Samuel make the bench as well.

Re: Deflecting a poor display............

Need to look at the elements of the team that work - midfield three is as good as we have but, the system we play puts us in difficulty where anyone takes advantage of our current lack of pace in areas. I know we have injuries but a more pacy left back in Jake Bidwell's current position would help I...

Re: Unwanted Record

Hopefully we will progress with performances and the results will come but would be a nice place to continue the upward curve .....

Re: A Little perspective

Yep, and don't think Lundstram cost that much in the end either - talk seemed to be in the million plus bracket but think the fee was a lot less.

Re: Mass Luongo...

Nice to see players being given the opportunity to gel together - decent players like Mad have been amongst our ranks but chop and change not helped.

Re: Frustrating!

Fair assessment RType - we didn't have that pace or guile in the attacking third to make our opportunities really count. Thought some of our build up play looked pretty good in places - some nice one and two touch play. Fredericks, Johansen, Mollo, Sessegnon, Ojo, Norwood, MacDonald, Odoi - all of t...

Re: Match Thread: Queens Park Rangers FC v Fulham

In places Fulham did put some decent passing together but felt we put some nice bits of link play in there too - perhaps the difference was they had pace options to play into.

Thought our closing of play was the better on view and the foul count evidenced how they stopped us.

Re: Frustrating!

Sorry, missed the trick with Fulham - commentators on SKY were having a love in with the Cottagers and maybe they are the best side in the division but, didn't look like it to me.

Re: Frustrating!

Can see what you are saying Southgate - think we have enough pace and speed of thought in our middle three but, in the absence of Hall and Onouha, we need someone on the coaching team to help young Furlong develop. One pace option wide and one up top would add a real dimension to us - hopefully Samu...

Re: Match Thread: Queens Park Rangers FC v Fulham

We had some fair opportunities to get on the score sheet throughout the game - didn't take them and left Fulham feeling more comfortable than they should have. Sessegno n has had a major impact for Fulham and thought Pac did well to contain him but didn't get his own attacking game going. In hindsig...

Re: Match Thread: Queens Park Rangers FC v Fulham

Thought Robinson had a good game tonight. Freeman showed as much quality as anyone from both sides on the park. Lack of consistently good final ball against a Fulham team which did not look too clever defensively. Enough there to take some positives but Alex does need to work on his headers. Come aw...

Re: Match Thread: Queens Park Rangers FC v Fulham

Bit harsh on here - think the team has put some decent passing together in patches - Pav has a hard job tonight - think the ref has allowed Fulham to get away with a few tactical fouls.

Bidwell should have scored from a great pull back and Fulham relying on pace.

Re: Lineup / prediction v Fulham

Not sure the Washington/Mackie pressing combination would be so effective against Fulham - think Smith should start, and would go for :-

Smithies

Furlong
Baptiste
Lynch

Wzsolek
Scowen
Luongo
Freeman
Bidwell

Smith
Wheeler
