Re: Choosing my kids footy team?

As Satch stated "I've indoctrinated mine from the off", however being geographically dislocated watching QPR has been a tele-visual experience for the pair of them. That said when we were in the Premiership, the Foxtel red button meant we could watch the R's home & away week in week out. I've got to...

Re: Pay at the BBC

But we all live in a 'trickle down' economy don't you know. For entrepreneurs not glorified civil servants working for the state broadcaster. If they want to pay these wages it should be privatised, TV licence scrapped and commercial revenues sought. My comment was more a sarcastic comment a...

Brilliant! Thanks for posting WA. If you haven't seen it, you may also enjoy Sam Billing's bizarre catch for England's T20 match against an Australian Prime Minister's XI last week. https://www.cricket.com.au/news/sam-billings-boundary-catch-england-australia-prime-ministers-xi-match-canberra-rules...

Re: Barnsley prediction

You mean Rooney's spectacular overhead a few seasons ago isn't the finest!? I'm shocked and dismayed. Alas yes, despite the adulation of the 'meeja' it was a long way short of being the finest. Oh, and Michael Robinson's shot from the half way line over Eddie's head at Shameful Bridge in the quarte...

Re: Barnsley prediction

3-0 with Tricky Trev to score the most spectacular overhead kick the World has ever seen!😎 I was there in the paddock in line with it, IMO the best over head ever it just won’t be beaten. I was in the Loft and it still looked mightly impressive. Like you say, never going to be bettered, ever.

I hear the Leeds right wing community embraces it.
The 'Leeds Salute', please, no right wing connotations here. Actually, to be fair the 'Leeds Salute' is a real thing between fans and players. A bit like that stupid Cardiff Ayatollah slapping the head thingy. Still, that badge is simply awful.

Re: Wheeler - operation (in house?)

It's not as though IH has used the lad much is it? Or for that matter is interested in any kind of real width in the attack. Maybe the ankle injury explains why he's not been used much. Quite possible and I'm prepared to accept that may indeed be the case. My point was more to do with Holloway latc...

Re: Fernandes Tweets...

He is getting pelters on Twitter for this: Tony Fernandes @tonyfernandes · 18h Had injuries galore , big squad etc etc. All been talked about. Patience is the name of the game. Think the spirit in the squad is great down to the manager. The players are good. Just need to take chances . Need to steg...

Same old Whining.I understand people are pissed-off,but haven't we been through this a thousand times.OH for a reasonable review of the game from someone on this board! Yep, you're right we're just little old QPR, we've had more than our fair share of 'days in the sun' & times where we 'punched abo...

Re: Wheeler - operation (in house?)

Yep, a fringe player needs an operation and the manager makes a big song & dance about it, as if it's some kind of big deal and leaves the team utterly hamstrung.
