Re: QPR v Ipswich - match thread

I've got to say I'm quite enjoying this 100 year LR celebration stream for ex-pat R's!😊

Re: Ian Holloway interview

An interesting and typically honest IH read which leaves me really quite encouraged that the club is slowly but surely rediscovering its true soul. 8)

Re: Did we sign the guy from Blackpool ??

Without bigging him up too much, I think this will be one of the best signings we've made for a long time. This kid is pretty special. Phenomenal signing. I share your excitement SM, this signing is quite some coup for the club. Well done to all concerned! https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/brigh...

Re: Sean Goss - to be loaned to Yeovil?

May do Goss some good there. Indeed, the Football League's longest serving manager w...

Has it really been 10 years to the day!

I still fondly remember that goal at St Mary's.

Re: Economic Growth

Sadly you may well be right, but we have to keep trying to change the way things are done. If you've not seen this before, check out the Centre for the Advancement of the Steady State Economy: http://www.steadystate.org They promote an alternative economy that, for me, ticks many of the boxes that ...

Re: Economic Growth

To quote Sir David Attenborough, who I believe was himself quoting Kenneth Boulding (adviser to JFK'), "Anyone who believes in indefinite growth on a physically finite planet is either mad, or an economist."

Despite your hopes, alas I suspect crisis will prove to be the catalyst for change.

Re: Ollie on Brentford debacle

I would have thought the way to assess a players ability would be to see how he performs when introduced to a team that has been playing together -hopefully successfully- for a number of games and compare him to whoever he stands in for. He is surrounded by players who have been doing the business ...

Re: Colin's return match.

Let's face it, Neil Warnock is a c**t, i thought he was a c**t before he joined us, he will have been a c**t while he was with us and i think he's a c**t now. But critically, for a short and very enjoyable period, he was our c**t and it's hard not to have some affection for him. But on Saturday he'...

"He scored three times for Wigan last season, with two goals coming in his second game against Norwich."

Re: Mark Hughes / Clint Hill

I'm sure Mark Useless would like to air-brush all things QPR from history and his CV! So would we but unfortunately we are still living with the gargantuan consequences of his incompetence and in particular his relationship with Kia Joorabchian.
