Another clip about James Casling, the young lad who appeared on Victoria Derbyshire's programme: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-39696606

Some interesting comments from Onuoha and Smith.
Think before jeering and booing your own players at a match.

Re: Parking the bus

It'll be a long time, I feel, until anyone matches Adel Taarabt's season as captain. 8) We should bring Adel back to the club as player manager  No doubt Adel did a little off the cuff training at Benfica but he lacks managerial experience at this level in my opinion. However a smaller role t...

Re: Parking the bus

Double agreed which is why Perch could have sat in front of the defence whilst Furlong played.

However parking the bus rarely works, attack is really the best form of defense.

Sean Goss = Ben Gladwin
Way too early in Sean's career to make such a judgement. I don't remember Swindon insisting on a buy back clause with Gladwin.

I don't think today was the right occasion to drop him in.

Still far too early to tell if he will be a good signing and i hope the fans don't get on his back.
Correct. As soon as I saw that team sheet I thought WTF. Furlong could have played and Perch play in the defensive role.

Re: Match thread: Brentford v Queens Park Rangers FC

What I said was ''We have to get something next week against Forest. If we don't then it cannot be 100% Ollie's fault, the players would have to take some responsibility.'' i was speaking in the context of this one almost shit or bust game. Nobody has said the players should shoulder the blame for t...

Re: Match thread: Brentford v Queens Park Rangers FC

Can't see us getting any more points... Question is, can Blackburn win both their games? We have to get something next week against Forest. If we don't then it cannot be 100% Ollie's fault, the players would have to take some responsibility. Why? Professional pride, the desire not to get relegated,...

Re: Match thread: Brentford v Queens Park Rangers FC

Ollie has to take some blame - he's tinkered too much. But I think the quality of the squad leaves much to be desired. They're all trying hard but too many are simply not good enough. The squad didn't look too bad after the seven game unbeaten run but since then Ollie has hit the self destruct butt...

Too inexperienced Bevan. He might not be able to cut it in the third division.

Re: Should the unthinkable happen ..

You genuinely believe we will get relegated? Think about it SM. Next week we take on Forest on the back of six straight defeats whilst Blackburn have Villa at home. If we mess up and Blackburn win then that takes to the final day of the season, away at Norwich. I am not saying I think we will go do...

Re: Second time we've lost 6 in a row!

..defence is a major problem...the first to be fixed... The other end is equally a problem. Had we better strikers playing today we'd have got something from the game. The whole team has issues, defence leaking goals, midfield allowing teams to play through us and the attack not scoring enough. Tha...

Well done to everyone that hounded out Hasselbaink.
Impossible to say if our league position would have been any different if JFH was still the manager.

Re: Match thread: Brentford v Queens Park Rangers FC

That's a relief but with just 2 games to go, we're still not safe! Correct. Blackburn have Villa at home and then Brentford away. Can't see us getting any more points...
