Re: No 10

You came back leading with an insult. Point proven. I didn't read the rest of your waffle. But you hate and detest Theresa May. Impotence speaking. I guess we'll never know if you are naturally mysoginistic due to age and upbringing or are just scared of strong women due to some past, perceived humi...

Re: The Commemorative Shirt

Modern footballers, especially those who succumb to injuries early in their careers could still be as badly off as those in the past (indeed it does happen to great performers in many others sports where rewards aren't up there with those in football --- Chris Old is working in charge of the magazin...

Thanks I watched it last night. Great film, very well acted. Did not do much for for my pre Monday Sunday evening mood though, it started dark and got darker. Haven't seen it (yet) but will. There will always be some who slip through the net but tooo often those (non-medical types) charged with pro...

Re: On way back

Ravel looked fat to me. He definitely looks like he's put a little bit on in his backside. Only eight games of the season left and I suspect he'll be buying Italian icecream next season. Done nothing and not enough time left to prove himself. He'll just have to go back to live in Rome and stay ther...

Re: Joe Lumley

Jurgen Sommer QPR 1 - Villa 0. Sommer applauded of by both sets of fans and players as he single-handedly stopped Villa winning by a Cricket score. And Gallen's winner shouldn't have been because it never crossed the line. Took you a while to post that, I take it you had to sift through the other 6...

Re: Taarabt/Caulker - Club Problems

It certainly puts our issues into perspective ! Having our bad apples is small change to having a player who murdered his girlfriend and fed her to the dogs. Chocolate and/or onions (and related veg) and dried raisins/sultanas and grapes are bad for dogs but Human meat should be OK for them.

Re: I,Daniel Blake

Getting people to vote at all is a big issue. The "they're all the same" mantra seems to be all pervasive. "No matter who you vote for-the government always gets in" is another sixth form saying. An example. A man at the end of my street has severe arthritis and couldn't get about. The Blair admini...

Re: Joe Lumley

It's a bit like when everyone raved about McCarthy and said he was better than Green. It doesn't seem to have turned out that way. Palarse didn't think so and Green despite the occasional clanger, could be in for another Wembley Playoff MotM award.....? Whilst I agree Smithies has saved us many poi...
