Re: Jordan Pickford

With Nigel Spackman to go the other way in a swap deal. http://www.qprdot.org/phpbb3mb/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=79907&start=45 How lazy of me. But as you say Esox, the fact remains Pickford is an inexperienced keeper, albeit one with potential (maybe, no more or less than Smithies). Pickford has had Pr...

Re: General Election

Another example of bias. The media has yet to question the mysterious "means testing" of the Winter Fuel Allowance. The media should be saying "you are going to limit this payment to those on pension credit, because means testing 12m pensioners would be too unwieldy and expensive, is that not true ...

Re: Jordan Pickford

Moyes and Sunderland think they are still a Prem club.

If Pickford hasn't moved hysterical hysterical before January I'd have doubts that any fee (for a. by then, Championship Keeper) would be even be half that.

Re: To be visited in a years time :-)

My vote will remain secret until the end of the season when I will reveal how I voted and accept accusations of smugness. Or cheating.

Re: Bans for diving

I have to admit surprise at the particular managers who have already publicly come out against it. We all know how useless the FA usually are so people are bound to be sceptical (and there really needs to be a way to punish a player for an offence which doesn't have the potential for actually being ...

Re: QPR boss Ian Holloway targeting 'three or four' new signings

Grant Hanley's been released by Toon. Think he'd be a good addition to the squad. Reliable Championship player. My only comments on that must be --- how much of him have you actually seen? And if he really is a decent/reliable Championship defender domiciled in the NE why would he (as a Scot who ha...

Re: Updates on new stadium, training ground and more

The constant bringing up of "but will it increase attendances?" though, is nonsense. "So to address (and answer) the question --- "Yes". a new stadium would almost certainly play a part in converting some current non-QPR fans into QPR fans. Overall it would increase our fan-base and revenue turn-ov...

Re: Updates on new stadium, training ground and more

Wigan have punched above their weight for many years because of the reveune their stadium provides) while Bolton have been promoted straight back into the Championship (something we only just managed after three years in League One) and Cardiff are ticking along nicely so won't have be "cutting the...

Re: Bans for diving

Ashley Young wouldn't have got a retrospective ban for his dive which earned his team a penalty and Derry a red card... they saw nothing wrong with it when reviewed. If the decisions remain as hopeless as that one, this won't have much impact at all. I'd happily bet that at least once during the se...

Re: Updates on new stadium, training ground and more

You may be right about your statistics, but as you give none how can we know, and how can you suggest that it's proven? In this Torygraph article: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/0/happens-next-team-moves-stadium-every-new-ground-since-1988/ of 33 examples given of what happened after teams mov...

Re: General Election

Legalise and tax Marijuana?

I've been saying it for years. It's just a shame they don't do the same with other currently illegal drugs.

Still, it's good enough to get my vote.

And the promised re-run of the Brexit referendum would be a nice little bonus.
