Re: Northampton/JFH

reading this thread made me check out the League 1 Table. Shrewsbury Town currently sitting 2nd, would be great if they could get promoted as would be a new ground to visit and we haven't played them since 1983. I never managed to visit their old ground (Gay Meadow) however I was only 9 when we last...

Re: Porridge

I don't often agree with Esox either but I do about Peter Kay, Phoenix Nights being excellent and Lee Evans being not my cup of tea.

Re: Reading Prediction..

I can not attend tomorrow as back playing cricket this year....however I will be putting the cost of a ticket on Reading to win. If we then win I am happy and not bothered about the lost money as I would have spent this attending and if we lose (which I think we will 1-3) I win some money to cheer m...

Re: Prediction of final table

We won the playoff final too, but I suppose you ignore that as it was under the management of Harry Redknapp and we all still remember the hatred you had for him.

Re: Just back

I just hope Robinson is able to get over his injury problems and can establish himself as our 1st choice LB You also forgot to mention Bidwell h...

Just back

Birmingham away is always a fixture I enjoy, a colleague is an ex Birmingham player so I always go to meet him for a beer and then onto the game (have to sit in the old directors box though) but I always get to met Dennis Bailey who works for Birmingham as a host. As for the game, was impressed with...

Re: Fortress Loftus Road

I blame mobile phones for the lack of atmosphere at football grounds (it isn't just Loftus road where the atmosphere has died).....people spend more time on their phones than watching the game!

At a push I would say Chery & on a good day Polter.
All of them for me, but that's because I am a supporter.
