Re: Porridge

The 70s gets bad press but it was sitcom gold. Everything was brilliant but now only the occasional ones reach greatness. I think that there's more of a "you can't say that" mentality nowadays. Not sure they'd allow Father Ted nowadays. Lots of our modern sit-coms are about weasely IT/Hipster types...

Re: Errea shirt size and fitting

Hi, Last season I bought a 3xl Dryworld home shirt but with the new errea Italian fitting which size should I go for 6xl or is it still smaller than the Dryworld 3xl. Just looked at Norwich city shop and they cater for upto 10xl, why don't QPR do the same? Thanks for your help Norwich fans struggle...

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Let's see how he does on a wet Tuesday night in Verona.

Re: Goodbye Motty

During the War, I got the chance to visit the exec boxes at Barnet and was queuing up for some food when a voice from behind me said: "I'll just need to stop you there as I would just like to find some potatoes." I thought, "hang on, that voice sounds familiar?" Turning on my heels I saw him, Motty,...

Re: David Wheeler

Sounds like a better prospect than Dicko. Think we'd have got more games out of Dickov.

Re: Ollie on Brentford debacle

I was there last night and believe me, nobody hates losing to little Brentford more than I do but playing Devil's advocate for a moment after 24 hours reflection, I think we knew before the game that both sides would make wholesale changes. You can argue the number of changes we made was excessive ...

I strongly doubt there's anything in it.

Seems like a reminiscence rather than "I'm off to W12 again."

You never know, could play in the Game for Grenfell?

Re: Early team news

BBC sport saying Caulker unavailable so that sort of limits our back three - are we looking something like the following based on Willie's usual selections :- Smithies Perch Onouha Lynch Wzsolek Scowen Freeman Luongo Robinson Washington Smith I would prefer to see Furlong in for Perch, Sylla in for...

Welcome Back Mel Johnson

Casting aside the pre-season cynicism, I think the return of Mel Johnson is a really positive step for us. Before leaving for Spurs 12 years ago, Johnson helped identify and sign the likes of Lee Cook, Gareth Ainsworth, Dan Shittu, Marc Bircham and Lee Camp. All of whom did a fantastic job for the c...

Re: nice one Clint Hill

He has scored in 3 consecutive games now, the first time he's done that since his days at Tranmere Rovers 17 years ago.

Jeff Stelling said so. Must be true.

Nene Park

Former home of Rushden and Diamonds and scene of two of the most exhilarating moments I've ever witnessed on an away day in Northants is currently being demolished.

Sad really.

Probably no reason to visit Wellingborough ever again.

The Millennium Stadium memorial shirt. A reminder of having a piss into the River Taff. Beautiful.
